I think it was UConn...they were down 30-9 at the half, but came back to win. Their opponent wasn't ranked, so that would have killed them

Damn...thats quite a deficit...They must have been overconfident or something.

Who do you think will go all the way this year? Arizona? Duke? Maryland? Maybe someone to come out of nowhere like Tulsa or Kent State?

I have no idea why she left. All she said was what she posted. I PM'd her, but she never replied. She seemed certain the way she posted she woudn't be back. I never see her on MSN anymore either

I just read it....and quite frankly, Im just in shock.......I mean, I would have thought she would have addressed all of SYM, rather then just the DF community to say goodbye, because she made many more friends then just the DF community. And she left such a cryptic last message....I just dont know what to think of it. I wish I could make out heads or tails of it. Hmmmm....I guess all I can say is that she'll be missed here and hopefully she'll pop in again.

Oh, BS, I remember there was something you were frustrated with in IWD2, and I asked whether it was the toughness of creatures, and you said that, its not that but Ill find out. So what was that that was frustrating? The 8 chambers?

Mostly the last of the eight chambers. I was cruising til I gt there.

Me too. That last chamber was such a problem, until I implemented a little strategy.

Well throughout the chambers, of course I used my tank, barbarian. He was the fastest and he could do 2 weapon style, so the creatures were a breeze. But come that fire chamber he just got schooled...again....and again.....*sigh* and again... So of course, being the lazy arse I am, I figure there has got to be an easier way then just blunt attacks, because I could take one down, but those pillars of fire always did me in before I could kill the second monk. So I put in my cleric. Shes my weakest, offensively, besides my wizard. So what was I thinking? Well I just cast monster summoning IV, and a couple animate deads, sat back, watched the fun, and ran whenever a pillar of fire came close. And if the going got to hot, then Id just cast heal on myself. Worked like a charm.

Darts! HA! That never crossed my mind. I think it would be a bit chaotic to run around and throw darts at two opponents and still avoid the fire.

It was But only throw at one til he's dead. makes it easier when there is just one chasing you

Must have been fun watching two angry monks chase you helplessly, sometimes getting in a kick that gets nothing but air. I mean just to think if this really happened, it can get quite comical.

It would have been funny except for those damn flame columns. The were annoying

Yeah. That was a hard room, but you wouldnt expect them to make it easy, would you?

As I said, Im in chapter 5, just finished the Yuan ti temple, now I have a fun, fun, fun, fun battle ahead of me....sense the sarcasm....

Bleck. Ive faced him 5 times. Ive loaded 5 times. The worst Ive done to him is: "Barely injured"....I know what I got to do with weaponery, but its just failing. Im not giving up the ghost yet! 10 more attempts, lets see if we can do more then cut off his toenail.

I left him alone for now. I'll come back later...with bigger swords
