@Ned - Thantor is a powerful character, and so is Jenna That said, it had been noted - and uncontested - in posts that your char appeared not to threaten - but I hear what you are saying.
@Teroril - a rant is normally out of character for Ysh, I apologise you got the brunt of it but my arguement still stands.
and as requested I have started a new thread to discuss DF character attributes...

If you read some of my other posts in this thread, you will find out that this little episode isn't a plot, but a way to introduce my character.
where is this coming from??? what I had written was not directed towards you in any way. you confuse me.
@Ysh,
cool. I'll work on the conversation with thantor. feeling less snubbed.

oops. "Edits 'R' Us" have been called in to fix the problem. However, I do this reluctantly since this company, to a man, have worse butt-crack problems than plumbers! This is not something I need to see so soon after lunch, but for you, Ned, I'll suffer willingly!Originally posted by Ned Flanders
and I really hadn't intended to send rod and todd back the house of pain..., I mean..., astral plane.
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

@Ned: I've edited so Rod and Todd are still around, though I think Todd has to use the litter box.... The only reason I wrote anything about your animal buddies was an attempt to include you in the story (i.e *not* snub you). I just did it poorly. Sorry.

@ Ysh,
PM's checked. I don't suppose I have much of a choice since this invasive little window now pops up and says, 'surprise, you have a private message. Do you feel your karma would most benefit from opening this in a new window.' anyway, enough of being silly.
I got the message Ysh.
@Gwally,
thanks and understandings but it's best if I keep rod and todd around for a bit. the snubbing only came in the form of everyone but one walking away. The giant magic eight ball seemed playful enough when you were caught in the throes of the noontide ritual.
anyway, it's been pointed out that thantor and thantor alone is good enough for a start conversation. things are simplest mano y mano anyway. DW already volunteered a little assistance with the conversation to come. as soon as I pm here back, i'll get to work on it.
excellent revisions. thanks.
I noticed you were writing the parts of Thantor and jennabard during the noontide battle. does that make you qualified to consult on the conversation to come between thantor and myself.

If DW is willing to channel Thantor and JB for a while, that's fine by me. They are currently 'free-floating' characters, and I wanted to write part of the Noontide battle from a different persepctive. I don't want to usurp their characters forever, But, in a pinch, I am happy to put words in their mouths. I especially like searching for Shakespeare quotes for Jennabard!

@NF PM me. If you are willing to bring me up to speed, I'll do what I can to be of assistance. The thought of Gwally working on said conversations makes me shudder...Originally posted by Ned Flanders

I have no idea what you are talking about here. What is so horrible (or unlikely) about me writing for a self-professed tall, dark, and handsome ranger/cleric? You're still mad about the dry white toast comment, aren't you?Originally posted by thantor3
The thought of Gwally working on said conversations makes me shudder...
Here’s what I was thinking:
"Thantor's big brain throbbed and pulsed as he psionically probed the mysterious stranger. His hands traced odd patterns in the air as he palpitated the ki field. His breath came in short gasps which rose in volume as the session intensified. Jennabard slowly retreated in embarrassment, feeling like she was witness to something intimate and base...."
Is that so bad????

(howdy, Thantor, btw. Hope all is well with you! )
