Just a minor correction, barking to orders for officers of lower rankings. They will regive the orders to actual troops.Fiberfar wrote:Translation for mortals: I prefer running around, barking orders to others instead of sitting on my ass, barking orders to others.

But since Captain is so low down on that list, he'll most probably be leading the charge most of the time. Hence running around barking orders to others.Fiberfar wrote:Translation for mortals: I prefer running around, barking orders to others instead of sitting on my ass, barking orders to others.

Well, seeing that this is a thread dedicated to spam, I don't think that seeing spam here is unusual, do you?Queen_Articuno wrote:WTF?! You guys are weird! First you talk about torture, then spam, and now the military? What the heck is up with you weirdos?
As for the rest, I guess we are just a bunch of social people trying to become friends. Albeit in rather sadistic ways.
By the way, I take it you calling us weirdos as a sign of your own good humour?

Now, if you think this as weird, then I suggest you to read through following two threads (in that order, and only if you have enough spare time, as both threads are thousands of pages long)Queen_Articuno wrote:WTF?! Yep. Remember coming across those threads during my earlier days, though I never posted in any of them at that time.

*EDIT* I'll also give you the fact that the second link is weird, too.
And I noticed that both of those links had posts that mentioned alcoholic beverages. Don't you guys and girls know that drinking heavily can damage your liver and you could get cirrhosis? Ugh, what is up with you?
OK, Kip. I'll give you the fact that the first link is VERY weird. Gonna check out that second link. You managed to get yourself into this thread, and still claim you're sane?
That's quite the feat.

Yes, but on the other hand, not drinking heavily could result in reasonably good health which equals longer life if you don't get run over by a bus or something similar. Longer life generally leads to Depends, so you could say that I'm drinking to preserve the dignity of life rather than the length.Queen_Articuno wrote:OK, Kip. (I'm going to get slightly religious here, so if you don't like it you can leave, as far as I care! )Bloodstalker wrote:Yes, but on the other hand, not drinking heavily could result in reasonably good health which equals longer life if you don't get run over by a bus or something similar. Why are you wasting your God-given life drinking and damaging your body?
Like I mentioned earlier, drinking heavily can lead to cirrhosis later on or liver cancer. And I would like to have a long, healthy life, too!
(BTW, the only drinking I have done is the drinking of the communion wine at my church on Sundays. I'M not gonna wreck my body down the road! For me, it's drug-free the whole way!!!)

Compliment, as it's inside joke here in SYM that the place is actually madhouseQueen_Articuno wrote:Yes, I'm still sane, and I plan on keeping it that way, too!

Oh, and two friendly notes:
1) Please use EDIT-button to avoid double posting, especially if there is only couple of minutes between the posts
2) It's rather risky to start religion -basing discussion here, as those usually tend to heat up rather badly.

Me insult only when provocated, so it seems that there we differ.
(Of course, I may insult my friends, but that's totally different topic )

I don't recall telling you to start drinking anywhere. I don't particularly care if you do or don't, it's your choice to make. I'm also not going to try and justify why I drink heavily (or even if I do or not, it's amazing how someone can read a single post that was made in an attempt at humor and form a sweeping judgement on the posters life like that.) because, quite frankly, I don't care a bit about your opinion of me one way or the other.Queen_Articuno wrote:(I'm going to get slightly religious here, so if you don't like it you can leave, as far as I care! )

As far as I recall, you are the one who brought the topic into play, I made a post that was in no way meant to be taken seriously, and you decided to try and correct my behaviour it seems. As far as the religous thing goes, religion doesn't bother me. I respect peoples faith so far as they respect mine. I'm not going to get into a conversation about religous beliefs however, because I don't discuss those due to the tendancies for those discussions to get rather heated as kipi says. So if you're wanting to find someone to discuss ideals or perhaps to impress with how righteous you really are, direct your comments towards someone else because I will not respond.
I do wish you to enjoy your stay on the board. I will also offer a bit of advice. Religous discussion and so on is perfectly fine and there are members who have taken part in those discussions in the past and enjoyed them. But you should probably keep in mind that attempting to impose your beliefs on anyone else or pointing out how other people are just wrong because they don't comform to your beliefs or trying to be someones moral conscious or health consultant is likely going to get you ignored by most people.
