The arm seems to glow benevolently. As the one hand lift's, another decends, in this hand is one lone figure, standing prominently on the palm. The hand places his gently on the floor. Killing is fun, when done responsibly.

Yes, you are right.
*Turns to the imaginary crowd of children*
When we say "killing", we do not mean in the snse of murder. We mean killing time.

Since there doesn't seem to be anyone in here, except lurkers, and I'm getting sleepy, I guess I'll go to bed. *waves g'night to the lurkers and disappears through a dimensional door underneath a table*

Just getting my breath back. Our campus was hit with Nimda and we had to update every computer. On 4 campuses.
But it's over now and I am in need of some serious chill time.

The weirdest thing with that virus was that if you had an early version of IE it wasn't effected
We stupidly had just told a bunch of your clients to upgrade to 5.5..... and then we had to ring them up and tell them to install some security updates

Yeah, somebody in our dept. had the bright idea to mass e-mail and tell everyone to update their own DAT files. All that did was generate a ton of calls, mostly asking where the start button was. We went ahead and upgraded everyone to IE 6.

Well, we could have, but I don't make the final decisions...yet. As far as 6 goes, let's just say I HOPE it's cool. I haven't had time to play with it, just to install it. Of course it don't work with Win 95, and we still have a few systems running that. Those we had to update the explorer on.

I suppose it is pretty cool that you got to use a - hopefully - good Web browser, mostly they just stick with 4.0
