@Saint: I'm remind of Starship Troopers...

Ace: Sir, whats the point of this when we can just nuke our enemy from a distance?"

Zim "Private, put your hand on that wall..."

Ace: "Sir?"

Zim: "Put your hand on that wall!"

*Ace Puts his hand on the wall, Zim throws the knife, and impales his hand*

Zim: "The enemy cannot press a button, if you disable his hand. MEDIC!"

:D

My intel is about 10, and I find nothing wrong with that because I'm behind the helm!

Well its been a while. The thread that started it all. Thanks Nipples. :D

I was thinking of submitting my 2nd character if thats possible.
Anyway it would probably be a dwarf mage or a half-orc monk.
I'll be the first half orc of the BotB.

I'lll give me stats later.

It might not be a great idea for both characters to be members of the Blades, seeing as your two ingame characters must have no connections whatsoever in argyle.

joe, it might actually be possible to have two characters in the Blades who don't know each other. Check the "Cash Flow in Argyle" thread for details on number and disbursion of members. But, I repeat, BUT, you had better be a hell of a role player to keep them seperate! We don't ever want anyone questioning our methods. In terms of how we relate to the DMs, if we are above reproach in our game play, we will never be questioned when we tell the DMs we want to try something different. They will bend over backwards to accommidate the model role players. :D

The old thread has made a return.

@ Thorin

IMHO, Not a good idea, would cause too much trouble for you personally. Especially if we get stuck with one guild house. I plan to model my second character around the image of a drifter.

Good excuse to see the country side I guess :D

I think we should limit Argyle charcters in the BoTB to one at the time - when that charcter dies, we should be able to submit a second chracter (a lvl 1, maybe?) so we can avoid metagaming.

I don't think it would be looked good upon from TAT'ers if your characters a both a member of BoTB and claim "not to know each other"/"have nothing to do with each other"

So for now - my vote goes to 1 character in BoTB.

Xandax & Tamerlane, I agree. I said that it might be possible, but it would be so difficult to justify and to play that way that it would be much better if we keep it to one Banshee character per player.

Yeah, yeah, i intented to do that, i'm just coming up with thoughts of a 2nd character after my first dies(hopefully not!!).
Even though i hope my first guy doesn't die, i am feeling that being new to this world and all, he probanly won't last too long. Then once i get the hang of it with my 2nd or 3rd character things should go smooth.

That's the reason for the second character. To test out the game mechanics and generally take risks that you normally wouldn't do with your first character.

EDIT- On a minor note, we all start off at level one so we should all last some time within the world of Argyle. :)

Well I don't plan on my first chracter to surcive long, will just test the game some - therefore I will properly not use the character I've submitted to BoTB as my start character, proberly as my second character, depending on difficulty.

Remember BoTB doesn't exits yet(blows your mind to think about it) ;)

just a quick question, how do we go about making a second charecter and do we submit that as well, becasue i would hate for my Paladin to die quickly, i like the idea of a sort of like test character at first, is this along the line that we are talking, :D

The second character must have nothing to do with the BoTB.

The only time you can submit a second character is if your fist dosen't "want to meet" with BoTB or have died.

You must only have one character conencted to BoTB at any given time.
