@Ned: Sure you can touch things in the bar, since it's ice, they will rebuild it constantly Also, people don't get sued here (or sue others) like in the US, it's much much more uncommon here.
thanks. My question was a bit rhetorical, however, I was not up to par on the lack of civil lawsuits in Sweden. No kidding people don't get sued there like in the US, we're almost at a 1:1 ratio for citizens/lawyers. It's downright ugly. I hear if the number of the lawyers outweighs the number of citizens, they're going to bring the code of hammurabi back. It will be a bummer for the ogling community though

@Georgi: Sissy!

-5C is nothing if there's no wind!
@Ned: I've never really understood the suing-culture in the US...what on earth is the hammurabi code?
I like you idea of a cheese bar too - I happen to love cheese too

Would be fun to eat up the back of the chair

That's the spirit, Dottie

Or you could use it as an excuse to cuddle together for warmth.

Hmmm....the bar looks intriguing...but I have to say, I think my ideal bar would be a sun-drenched patio overlooking olive trees, vineyards and the Mediterranean....

I actually think the Ice bar sounds alot nicer then sun drenched patios, I've always found the swedish summer far to hot.

I guess it depends on where you live really....

I live in a temperate coastal climate.....which means that it rains through most of the winter, and rarely gets truly hot during the summer....

Some would make the same claim about sweden, But I know for fact that they are both biased and using wrong points of reference.

@DW and Dot: Ehrm, Sweden, especially were I and Dottus live, certainly have a typical temperate coastal climate with more rain than snow during winter, and not very hot summers. Now, Dottie's point of reference might be the Siberian tundra, but globally speaking, 25-28C or so is not really that hot.
We have to visit that Ice bar, Dottie. I don't mind Swedish summer, but I do prefer a slightly cooler climate, my ideal temperature is around 10-20C/50-70F. That's why I like to go to warmer places during the Swedish winter, and cooler places during our summer

I do however don't mind either extreme cold or extreme heat - the body quickly gets used to it.

Bah, Il keep my reference point secret so you cant accuse me of being too arbitrary.
As for favourite tempratures Im usally cold at about 10C but when the temprature sinks even lower I start to feel fine.
I actually dont know were that bar is, And it didnt say in the article either.

Your're so cultivated, DW

Actually, I think that's nice too - except for the trees, I don't really like trees - their usually only in the way for the view

The offer nice shade at hot places though...

Dottie Or you could use it as an excuse to cuddle together for warmth.
Now, I certainly think Georgi is a very attractive young lady (if I were bi....and 10 years younger), but I do believe you rather reveal your own dreams here than mine
The Ice bar is at the Northern Light Hotel at Vasagatan. You know, beside Royal Viking Hotel, just north of the Central station and the Arlanda Express.

lol! either that or I have far too much fondness for wine and latin servers....

Actually in my mind's eye I envision the patio overlooking downward sloping hills, covered by olive trees and vineyards....so that way they would not be obstructing the view....
@Dottie, lol!
You'd better hope Georgi can become accustomed to the cold!

LOL

There are many places like that around the Mediterranian, I think you'd just pick your choice depending on what flavour you'd like your handsome server to have

French, Italian, Greek, Turkish?

I find your lack of faith disturbing. Perhaps I should take measures to make my posts less amibguous in the future.
