Because....
"Man runs and kicks the ball. Other men follow. Man kicks ball to Man 2, then follows Man 2 as Man 2 runs and kicks the ball. Man then interfere's with Man In Strange Clothes ability to run after Man 2 as Man 2 run's by. Then, Man 2 kicks ball to Man 3, but Man In Strange Clothes 2 gets in the way and steals the ball. Man In Strange Clothes 2 runs and kicks the ball. But here's the twist...HE'S GOING THE OTHER WAY! It's a whole new turn of events now!
Ok, Man In Strange Clothes 2 runs, and kicks the ball. Man In Strange Clothes runs beside him and gets in the way of Man, and Man In Strange Clothes 2 kicks the ball to Man In Strange Clothes 3. Man In Strange Clothes 3 runs, and kicks the ball to Man In Strange Clothes. Man 2 runs, and kicks the ball away from Man In Strange Clothes right towards Man. NOW he's running the other way!"
Watching that for 2-3 hours makes me want to strangle the person in front of me for a little variety.

Magrus just solved the ancient mystery of soccer.
Might I add that if you gave every person a ball each, they wouldn't have to run after eachother all the time

then my head would really hurt watching soccer
