please do tell about your new stereo. over a drink, perhaps.
England is home to this lovely speaker company, meridian, perhaps you've heard of them.
@Ned, it is not brand new, it is second hand but in very good nick. My last one died...and the one before caught fire
It is a start though...Sony separates. Something to build on, and replace in time
I have not heard of Meridian, I don't think so anyway....
Hi BS!

Hmmm those DSP8000s look nice...I bet they are pricey though!

DSP8000's....yeah
I was always worried that if i bought those, one day they would start a countdown and liftoff directly from my basement. What a mess that would be. Is it just me or are they very 'spaceshippy' in appearance.

Yes they are somewhat futuristic, though I thought the idea behind hi-tec was that things were getting smaller
I am a believer if you spend that much on something, then you should be prepared to give it floorspace

Tavern goers: I apologize for my inexplicable (and even worse than normal) behavior during the past day and half. You’ll have to take my word for it, and trust me that it was necessary. Further apologies for not being able to explain further.
I’d like to buy a round for anyone that would care to share a drink

Thanks for the brew, too.

Middle shelf is fine by me. My palate can't distinguish top shelf.

Top shelf for me lest I hang up these curtains.
*Viv pulls pink curtains with little red hearts from behind her back threateningly*
You guys really shouldn't have let me know your weakness...all that 'guy bar' stuff was a dead give away

Waverly,
it's all top shelf. I don't ask Bloodstalker where the capital comes from although he was muttering earlier about buying more croc's to guard the poppies.
