Your right, a riot of envy from all the male members would surely be devastating to the place ;) :D

There are various characters who joined the story who have been missing in action for quite some time..... People such as Gandalfgal, Der Draigen etc.

I am wondering if, in order to tie up loose ends and make things realistic, we should sacrifice these characters in the abomination battle. Some, of course, may not be in the tunnels but rather in the Keep or around the grounds of the Keep. Perhaps they perished due to some other consequence? Maybe the Keep imploded due to the battle?

I was wondering about those characters myself. I know Gan has not posted on the forum for a long while, so understand why he isn't active in the stry, but I have been wondering about other characters where the person has been active on the board and has just stopped writing. I remember Mah jining, but don't remember if he stated he was gonna drop out or not. Do we have a list of character who have not been active, or does anyone want me to do a little digging and post one? :)

Isn't Der Draigens character a key player in the story?

edit: A question.. has the type of cavern system we are in been defined any where? ie: limestone, volcanic, man carved etc? I have been trying to find it if it has, but have been unable to locate its description

You have excelled at capturing Scayde's shock at discovering she has left Texas...and is now in a completely different world. She's a captivating character - and I also fear I have committed what I believe to be a serious understatement. I don't just like your posts - I really enjoy reading your posts. :)

@ Scayde, DD was an important player, but she has left the story for good due to RL issues. My thought was to hand the walnut over to some temple or mage (like Elminster). That way if she ever comes back she could resume her role or if she doesn't come back there's no loose end.

Near Eldath's pool, Gwally noted sedimentary stones. The tunnels are roughly and poorly carved. Metamorphic and volcanic stone may be present, but I wouldn't imagine any active volcanism. Just MHO, though. ;)

So by this I would assume Limestone formations to be a distinct possibility...?
At least in the vecinity of Eldath's pool?

hmmm, maybe that could be a possibility for me to rejoin as Imoen is mentioned as spending time in the company of Elminster after ToB and it'd tie into the idea i had of her requiring thieves to set up the guild she may or may not have started depending on if DD comes back before this chapter is finished or not

@Vivien: :( ...I didn't have the opportunity to interact with your character in the story (save for a bit part), but I have enjoyed reading what you have written, as far back as I have looked (Jacuzzi Thursdays *cough*). ;)
