@ Fallout: You think Galatasaray are in for a couple of tough weeks?? Well maybe you're right....
I saw that Hakan Ünsal had been injured against Deportivo La Coruna....that's bad news for Galatasaray.....

It'll be very hard for them to repeat the European Cup success they had last year.....
I guess it's harder to win the Champions League than winning the UEFA cup.....

btw - What are the current standings in the Turkish League?? Best teams?? Biggest surprises so far?? Best goalscorers?? Best players??

Indeed very very hard. Add Umit-Bulent to the injury list. Emre and Hasan ara in yellow penalty. It will be a miracle if they pass Deportivo.

I try to give standing tonight.

@Karembeu: Young Peter (Ofori-Quae) still plays for Olympiakos, actually this is the first year he is actually playing some decent footbal. The president is going to sell him this summer and I think some Italian Club is gonna pay 4 to 6 million Euro to get him. Not bad, I guess.
Sport news with wife at home? Nah, noway. The last summer I allmost couldn't watch the olympic summary (JUST the summary!) because of her constant bitching about it. I took my revenge though: She tried to make me watch the Rolland Gaross but I passed Image And imagine I like tennis too (I play good tennis)... Image

@Ubik: Well at least you get to see some tennis with your wife....my gf just hates to watch all kinds of sport.....especially ball-sports....the only balls she likes to handle are my.......nah that's an other story... Image

I thought Peter Ofori-Quaye (from Ghana???) was a pretty good player.....but I guess Olympiakos have got some better strikers......(he is a striker isn't he???)

Per Zätterberg isn't having such an easy time is he??? I saw the sports news last night(managed to sneak up Image)....and it said that Per Zätterberg had recovered from his injury....but that his form was just terrible.....he's probably seen his best days.....

@Karembeu, you naughty, naughty one Image

Well, Peter is from Ghana and he is a decent player, but he is also a little prick and he has gon a girlfriend in Ghana and he plays for his national team all the time and we have Giovanni, Choutos, Alves, Alexandris etc. up in front. Do I need to say more?

About Zoetterberg... well, he is - to say it the mildly way - pathetic, but he shows some potential Image

I take it you have on-digital...

I am really suprised that Valencia did not waltz on Man Utd, they are clearly a better side with more attacking prowess, it baffeled me. (BTW i watch all the spanish football on Sky so i have a vague understanding of what i am talking about Image ) It is like the teams facing Man Utd get awed by their presence and fail to play them efficiently, if West Ham can beat Man Utd then so can anyone Image

You're right....not only because I don't like Man U (still wanted them to win against Valencia)....but also because the match itself just sucked.....saw it on telly here in Sweden......

So what do you think about the English teams in Europe so far this season???? Been a long time since things were this bright.... Image

I concur that yesterday's ManU game left little to be desired, but it did give us a good example of how badly ManU can play when facing a better midfield game from their opposition. Valencia, in turn, were playing with their tails between their legs. All around crappy game. Today's Real-Lazio should be good, though. Speaking of which...

I found last night's FA Cup replays were far more exciting than Man Utd game.

Leeds has scored already at the moment, I wish good luck to them. Image

Yeh, Leeds Utd won!!

I'm not really a Leeds fun, but it's nice to see them doing well. Image

Here is the stats

1 Fenerbahce 48
2 Galatasaray 46
3 Besiktas 43
4 Gaziantep 40

19 gol jardel

Best player this days Revivo (Israil)playing
for Fenerbahce. He could't play first season. In second season he plays very good and scores goals.

Surprise of the year is Besiktas. Second season they are playing bad. Coach Scala position in danger. Nouma always troublesome.
