hk deffinetly but im still not so sure about t3. i mea if he was more useful then heck yes but hes not... so he kinda sucks. dont get me wrong i lovr t3 but hes just useless. id hate to see him cut but on the other hand... what is he good for? i mean you cant even hack into a random terminal. it has to be something connected to the story. know wht i mean?

So what you're saying is that T3 should be an NPC? I don't really know if that's a good idea though.

no. he either needs to be not there at all or as a PC. im just not sure what i would want the most. hes been there since taris so he has sentimental value for some (including me) but hes absoulutly useless. hes not even that great of a slicer. but still... hes been with you since taris... but hes no game value whatsoever

Maybe when u played T3 wasn't that good of a slicer because you didn't upgrade his security skill, that counts for everything, i hear many people say "T3 sucked because he wasn't good as a computerslicer, or a lockpicker" and i think that is pretty dumb, because all of it depends on the skills of a character.

T3 is definately good at skills etc. but as a playable character he is rather limited in his use. It is quite easy to make another character's skills develop in a way that makes t3 no longer necessary at all. I think what Kayos was getting at, and I agree, is that there are not really any situations where you need T3 to slice into a computer/security network. The only one where only he can do it is on Taris. This does make T3 a bit pointless as he doesn't really do anything that another character cannot do. I do however really like T3 so would like him to stay in the games.

yes! thats exactly what i was getting at! t3 is useless but you still gotta love him though... hes a loveable useless lump.

I think the opening seen should be of hk-47 and t3 in a trash compactor. Hk deals with T3 because he wont shut up, and then deactivates himself after reaching an area of relative safety. For the first half of the game you should travel with an Hk -50/51 model assa... communications droid. At some point (where the new Hk is forced to be in your party) You make an escape into this trash compactor, Hk-47 has reactivated itself at the sounds of blaster fire, and destroys the imposter, some how becomes your friend, and mines T3's crippled corpse for parts useful to get out of the trash compactor.

Don't really like to comment on other people's view on how the story should go.

Anyway, forgive me if I go off-topic here but what about giving HK-47 the ability to wield a lightsaber? I don't see how a droid should not be able to do so (if General Grevious can,even though he is not 100% robot, why not HK-47?). At least that droid will have some usefulness aside from using only a blaster.

As for T3, I think that they probably better give him some unique abilities in combat so that he'll be able to fend for himself like giving him some add-ons like a rocket launcher attached to him or something similar.

My ideas may sound a little over the top but that's the best I can think off.

There's no way I want some Trandoshan on my party. Kind of hate Trandos after playing through Star Wars: Republic Commando. Nasty lizards. Make me feel like pumping them full of blaster fire. :D

i have actually created my own KotOR III story, without details, only basic information. I analyzed the previous parties and data and came up with this list for pary members:

0. Main Character (force sensitive)
1. Dark Jedi (Male/Female - opposite of main character's gender, force sensitive)
2. Mandalorian (male, not canderous, please not canderous i think we've given him enough spotlight)
3. Mechanic (Male if main character LS, female is main character DS-possibility of Bao-Dur cameo?)
4. Scoundrel (typical carth/atton archetype, maybe female this time?)
5. Jedi Knight (female im thinking, maybe bastila?!)
6. (Defective) Sith Commando (omg have you guys ever wanted to wear that 1337 sith armor?, i know you get to for a while on taris but come on...)
7. Droid (yes you have to have at least 1 droid, probably t3-m4 again, maybe this time he can actually tell people everything he's been through)
8. Force Rouge (a person force sensitive that has rejected the path of the sith and jedi)
9. ANOHTER DOID? maybe hk-47's big brother: ak-47?
10. bounty hunter (???)

to add to this, i think we shouldnt have too many force sensitives, because usually players only use the jedi. also we should have a larger variety of species, not just human, i mean kotor2's party was almost entirely human, give us more twi'leks and less wookies,

omg no trandoshanz pls or quarrens, or weequays....maybe species we have never seen before

also another thought, i think influence should be back, but so should side quests from kotor 1, perhaps fulfilling those quests could gain influence.

and i think the dark side shouldnt corrupt facial features as much either

Ack! That is one butt-ugly insect. Forgot to mention that I don't read any Star Wars related books so, I've never come across anything outside both Star Wars related games and movies :) .

How about conscriting normal npcs and turn them into pcs? It be kinda cool to have a random guy with a blaster rifle around to help mop up some of the bad guys. But they don't have any influence or sidequests, you just give them ten credits and woop-de-doo an extra blaster.

(ps they shouldnt come back to life when they die, they just die)

haha! i totally agree. you prolly didnt read all that... i didnt relize how long it was... :/ anyway i just thought it was cool also because they went "extict" during this time era. i think itd be cool if they absorb one of your party members minds, then acting under the collective "Will" try and kill you or something. sabotage whatever.

i like this idea. they arnt permenant party members, theyre just there incase you need an extra hand or something. good thinking!
