shadowswire : i didn't read all of things what u wrote.. just some lines, but i can't agree about equipment.. +4 skill 100% recharge + good resists is the best eq for all character , and tempest set or just a crap.. :\ anyways, your tipps looks good for beginners , so it can be usefull for guys who haven't got the best items.
Melee being weak?
Not really. I have one of the least appreciated character types. A Paladin.
The Storm Nimbus, Storm Surge, Static Charge, Chain Lightning, and Reflection with the Summon Wisp pretty much owns anything the game throws at me.
Now combined with the Defensive skills like Battle Awareness, Adrenaline Rush, Rally,Quick Recovery, Resilience, Focus, Defensive Reaction and Defiance, makes all those pesky swarmer's barely bothersome.
NOTE: Not all the skills are maxed out
The character type is just well rounded for endurance and not so much for a singular purpose. I only need to carry about 40 or so potions and yet only died a dozen times throughout the game.
Ofcourse I do use an epic bow to pick off some of the enemies before they even reach me or take out the rangers/mages in the distance without bothering about the swarmers so much since the Storm Surge generally deals with them very well
Ofcourse comments and disagreements are welcome

I've been running with this Champion build in mind:
TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Champion
I'm only L47 at this point but I just flew through EPIC Acts 1-3. I do struggle a llittle with some of the side-quest bosses, but I'm fine with the big bosses. I just plow through trash often without much healing or pots.
That said, I did get lucky and get two legendary weapon drops early in Epic Act 1. With good gear upgrades which I plan to farm soon, I should be pretty good for legendary as well. But we'll see!

Umm, you might need to clarify on what you mean on what you should improve if you're going to add another mastery, like what mastery are you going to add?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

As simple as I can I am beginner. I do not know how to well build good character so as not to have problems in game in further game (epic and legendary). When I saw dream mastery skills I decided to choose it when creating my character. My question: choose one more mastery or not? ( I was thinking about warfare and defense) Which skills and attributes improve? I would like to fight with sword/axe etc.

You should go for Warfare and Dream then. And if you do a few searches around this titan quest area, you'll find a few builds for that sort of combination.

I'm playing TQ for about two weeks and i'm trying to choose the best character for me. Actually i made an assasin: TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Assassin, please give me an advice, maybe it needs to be rebuild?

A few comments:
-firstly, an assassin needs quite good gear to stay alive, so you will have to do lots of runs, trade, or make a more gear-independent character (spellcaster) as an itemfinder. But with some patience, some luck and some shopping you could do just fine.
-what you're missing is an attack skill to program on your left mouse button to replace standard attack. Most (if not all) assassins use Onslaught; I'd suggest maxing onslaught, ignore pain and ardor, but leaving hamstring alone.
-poison damage is useful in normal, but becomes useless in epic and legendary. Hang on to Nightshade and Mandrake for the crowd control, but place only one point in Envenom Weapon and none in Toxin Distillation (at the end of, or after, Normal that is)
-flurry of knives is an excellent skill to spread mandrake and nightshade with, but throwing knive itself is rather useless. I'd suggest placing only one point in it, as a prereq to flurry.
-drop open wound and anatomy completely. Bleeding damage sounds nice, but is near useless; you don't want enemies to live that long anyway
-one point in War Wind is enough, and I'd ingore lacerate completely
-flash power is not required, but it can be a life saver, especially for an untwinked build
long story short, here's what I would do:

I'm a fan of the Storm/Nature build. Storm mastery has some very potent spells. I tend to use maxed out ice shards most of the time
I mainly use the nature mastery for healing and a few other minor things. Since I've only just beaten the game on normal difficult, I haven't really explored nature's full capacity.

Damage per second
Try looking for a A Green sword with the words burning, flaming, or brimstone in the title. After that add attack speed modifiers and enchant the weapon with essence, embodiment, or incarnation of Prometheus Flame. A nice ring at low levels is Brimstone if you can find it. When you max out the earth enchantment you can get over 100% fire damage, another 9% from brimstone, plus whatever your weapon does, and whammo you're doing over 700 dps. Brutal combination, I was thinking of making a second character with the combination you're using.
NiKo - Level 63 Conjurer, 11,386 Damage per sec. Legendary, Final Act
