The beast is a danger to the roads and therefore has to be killed, as it is the responsibility of Indion to keep all roads as safe as possible (and you have been hired to help).
Are we still posting in this thread or move to the other? Either way here I go ...

I look confused at the numerous tracks on the soil Damn wolf, he obviously did a good number on us this time. We need someone able to track him down and we have no time to lose. Shall we return to town, Kolgar?

If we get to town without any incidence

Gather Information (x3 + 0): 4 , 10 , 14

If something happens before we arrive in Indion

Roll (x3): 1 , 19 , 6

To the DM: If I am doing things wrong or you prefer them done in some other way please let me know. I am trying to make things as smooth as possible and easier for you.

Just two notes, the RP will be in the forum "when the past" and i would prefer if you kept dialog in quotation marks (like these "")

You will be introduced by my next post in that forum, so just go when you feel like it.

Understood. One more question though. Can you explain who hired us to slay the wolf? Just in case we need to further continue on that track.

You were hired by the sheriff in Indion, Dylan Highhill and report to him directly.

Good to know that. I also want to announce everyone that my background has a "story so far" feature that will keep track of our endeavors. Hopefully there is no limit on the number of letters.

let us see then:

knowledge nature is not a class skill for a monk though, so you would receive slightly less points in the skill, but of course you choose what fits the character. Would also like to remind you that knowledge nature does not cover all monster knowledge, all though it covers quite a bit.

Dagor, also called defender of the weak, he who lightens the load, the divine shield, god of the martyrs. Dagor had two simple goals for the world, to end all suffering, and to redirect it to the strong while it existed. To be a worshiper of Dagor means to walk on his path of defense and healing. Dagor was always a passive god, meaning that crusades brought more suffering than they relieved, and that one should fight suffering where oneself was rather than seek it out. Even during the god wars Dagor kept silent, acting as a guardian of refugees rather than a figurehead of an army. Sadly, he vanished in the last years of the god war. Some say that Dagor at the end of the god wars sacrificed himself to stop Hextor from dealing a killing blow to Heironeus, knowing that Heironeus could accomplish much more as he had a larger base of followers.

As for the disciplines of the monk, I will now give you a short list of the commands you have received from your monk order, straying from them either drastically or often might cause you to lose the ability to level as a monk.

Commandments of the monastery of Dagor:
  • You shall defend the weak.
  • You shall keep your body and mind tuned at all times.
  • You shall help those with heavy loads.
  • You shall strive to heal the wounded and cure the sick.
  • You shall only lie to prevent suffering of the weak.
  • You shall not think less of someone if they are not wicked.
  • You shall never act upon primal instincts.
  • You shall not in any way stop justice and the righteous.
  • You shall aid those who aid the innocent.
  • You shall give to those who need it.
  • You shall relieve those who suffer.
  • You shall sacrifice all for the greater good.
oh, and you might want to notice me if you feel this code is way to strict.

Of course you can, but you have to know your limits, and the more clouded your mind gets you will have to be even more prepared and focused. Mainly meaning as long as you do not drink until you pass out you are in the clear. The rules focus was more in that you should use free time to either meditate or train.

Hello there! I've been reading through the 'when the past' thread and I've gotta say I'm more than a little sad that this campaign seems to of died, however if you think bringing in a new character (Got a pious cleric in mind) would liven things I'd love to join. If not I'd be up for starting a new campaign if anyones interested?

I would be interested though I don't know if there is anyone else around for this. Let us know if you do decide to start that campaign.

I guess I could start a new thread and see if there's any interest. No way I could DM though
