Ive been looking for an online Dungeons and Dragons chat room system for quite some time now. I can be on all the time, I play the pen and paper game at a club in my school. Ive played like 40 game. Very familiar with 3.0-3.5 rules,.. some of 4.0. I'm also a DM in my club. So If anyone finds anything tell me please.

I will admit that I do am really into finding other people that want to play D and D on an instant messenger as well. I don't have many people around here that want to play the pen and paper version because we're to busy to get together, but would love to be able to play online since I do a lot of my work on here. Most of the time I'm sitting around with nothing to do so playing online would be great.

Quick question

I just recently started playing dnd 3.5 and my friend is playing a psion. He seems to have the ability somehow to pass powers to his psicrystal and then manifest that same power over and over from his psicrystal without spending any power points. I have read all the books i can find and i can't find that feat or ability..... Is he cheating or do i just not have the proper book....

Sorry if this was off topic, first forum post i have ever made lol......

>_> I saw this thread and I just had to start an account.

I would love to play if anyone's starting an IM D&D campaign.

For the past 9 years I've been playing 1st edition, but I've recently gotten my hands on some ... 3rd edition books, I think. Maybe 3.5.

In any event, I'm a fairly experienced player and am more than capable of making a new character sheet. >_> If anyone's interested.

starting a campaign

My friend has a skype that we would broadcast from, it has a dice rolling program with it so that would be helpful, but ive seen some of these virtual gametables and Im wondering if they can be played online, id have to explore those before starting the campaign so until then we would play through skype. if anyone is interested ill get the skype as soon as possible. send me feedback through thelaffingman1@aol.com for details on the campaign. Im so glad i found this place. only a select few even want to play around here but i havent seen them around this semester. the basic outline for the campaign will be (depending on the # of players) either the world's largest dungeon, or a campaign of my own design enevitably ending in fighting an elder evil. quite devious in my opinion. any one is welcome and itll be in 3.5, any book is welcome to reference so dont feel limited. As a DM i can be a bit of a rules nazi so dont expect to get away with a super powered soulbow that "can use manyshot and rapidshot at the same time to shot 5 arrows for each volley amounting in a total of 30 shots doing over 100 damage." a guy i used to play with really liked to test the power of feats. although i am not completely opposed to anything not in a rulebook. change is always good
Don: "I'm gonna check out that hole." Me: "Are you sure? It smells really bad." Don: "I'm doin' it" rolls: 1
Me: "Welp, you fall headfirst into the crap hole, and contract Feces Fever.

I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and looking to keep RPing. I stumbled accross GameBanshee while looking for a 'play by post' forum where I could get some D&D in.

I'm using military net so my usual activity on Wizards of The Coast message boards has been blocked, as well as most boards/chat functions. Gamebanshee is one of the few gaming sites that squeked under the filters. If anyone else is interested I'm down to help in any way I can.

I can be reached at ThePunishingOne@hotmail.com

On a side note: The D&D chat (http://www.homebase-kice.com/dnd_chat/) actually works on the military network, or at least the client does, I havent tried to hook up to an actual session. The problem with that being that I dont have constant access to the net atm so I'd only be on in short sessions.

Have fun gaming.

Update: I now have internet in my mod room, its not the fastest thing ever, but I can at least visit WotC and other gaming sites now as well as use my messengers.

AIM: TheMephidross
MSN: Thepunishingone@hotmail.com

I'm looking to get a 3.5E online game going , though I will settle for a 4E game if it means getting to play.

FFFFFFFFFFF. I've been looking for an online D&D group for AGES! Every group I've found has operated on a post-by-post method, whereas I would prefer realtime playing, in a chatroom or on Ventrilo...

If anyone has anything like this in the works, PLEASE let me know! I can probably be reached easier at asfghnATgmailDOTcom -- I would LOVE to join a group, even if it's already in progress, so long as no one minds a bit of a "regressed noob" -- haven't played the game for a few years (and 4e not at all, though I have access to complete sets of handbooks for both 3.5 and 4e, just never used the latter :laugh :) , so I'll likely need a bit of reminding as to how things work...

But seriously, I am SO excited about the prospect! PLEASE HAVE MEEEE. </desperation>

hey maedros. i just joined THIS site, but am interested in DMing. i DM at my local gaming club (quick stop games) and would be happy to DM for a 3.5 game, as i have the books for 3.5.
