sorry, see previous edited post - I think 12 yr old Glenlivet and posting dont totally mix
Scotsman drinking whiskey? - I do try to live up to my stereotype.
btw - not sure if thsi is the place to ask but ...
What does getting 'bassied' mean? Was he/she the first person to get banned from the forums? The posts I searched on relating to this seem to suggest this but I'm just asking in case I got it all wrong.

Ahh... Good old Baassie... The first person to ever incur the wrath of Buck in such a way that he was banned. He then came back as Banned Baassie, and was hastily banned, a second time.

You guessed right. Baassie was banned and then came back under another name to plead his case..That got him rebanned and earned him a place in the permanent Hall of Shame
Aegis beat me to it

Bassie -
Absolutely top.
Cant believe he came back as 'banned bassie' after he got banned. It does have a certain touch of class about it, appeals to my sense of humour that does.
Were his posts pretty bad then? Hello Bloodstalker, hello Aegis - hey your the Moderator chap with the igloo right, that some others, cant remember names, keep wanting to blow up?
p.s. Been to canada a few times, rockies, bc and Yukon - brilliant place. scary bears. grrrrrrr, they go, grrrr, well they do in my mind anyway.

@Nippy - I see you are from Reading
Terrible place

- has this one way system from god knows where - used to always get lost in it and have to drive faster and faster round and round it till I just came scooting off in a random direction at escape velocity. Usually in the exact opposite direction I wanted to go in but at least it was out of reading. Also seemed to full of mad drunk students unlike my home town that was full of mad drunk students.

Yep. My Igloo is currently hiding in a cave, avoiding detection from Grunty's pantless marines. It seems to work for Al Queda, it'll work for me!

It sounds like a very excellent move. Grunty's pantless marines,

Be afraid, be very afraid. Not of the marine bit, you know, just the pantless bit. eeek
