Well, that's just not gonna happen, since MR R. Murdoch is to buy the channel... Current programme line up seems to be spot on for him, though. Just like the Sun.
Oh wow that will certainly improve the channel by so much. What next will they be showing re-runs of Benny Hill

I don't be surprised by that.

How about "page 3 girls" before each news.

Did i really?!? That wasn't what i meant at all, this is a grevious mistake....for the love of everything true, holy and noble (not weasel

) i urge everyone to realise i did not mean to infer such things, The Sun is a vapid wasteground for the morally and intellectually devoid.

I heard about it....from....erm....someone

I have only read the sun once, in the same vein as the sport and every other paper of that nature
For all i know they might have improved their standards since the last time i read it...but for some reason i am dubious

no-one reads the sport. they only 'read' it, which involves looking at the pictures, and usually they are incapable of reading print due to their poor eyesight (a condition exacerbated by 'reading' the sport)

I object to this, though. They have good eyesight (they can identify players from top of the grandstand, for example), but have too little brain cells to understand papers... *any* papers.

The Sport is a clasic paper. Where else would you get the headline - "Aliens turned my Son into a Fishfinger!"

Jerry Springer? The Pope? Dubyah?
(Note: the above expresses only the opinions of the poster, and not those of GameBanshee, the site owner, or the other moderators. In fact, it doesn't even express the opinions of the poster. The remarks were posted over his objections by an alien intelligence of great sapience known as Bubba Six, which shares a keyboard with Fable, and is compiling a history of Earth in the hopes of being eventually known as the Herodotus of the Milky Way Galaxy. It's true. I wouldn't lie, and I'm Bubba Six.)

LMAO..yes...I remember this one. They [the poor family] even showed the interviewer a fishfinger -
'Here is our son!'
'How do you know that isn't just a fishfinger?'
'Well if it is, how come our son isn't here?'
'I guess you must be right. I can see no way out of that logic-loop.'
'And also, it's all cold and stiff, just like our son would be if he was...*sob*...
dead!....'

@Bubba, correct me if I am wrong, but none of those are news papers are they? Though the idea of the Pope plastered over with 6" news type and pictures of fishfingers and aliens does have some appeal.

No, none of them are newspapers. Jerry Springer is a girlie tabloid, the Pope is a prayerbook in 6th century Chalcedonian, and Dubyah is a first grade primer.
I hope that helps.
