Cheers Fable. I'm sure my resemblance to a 17-foot long log provides what is by far the most likely explanation. I'll bet when she got back to Japan she showed her friends her photo of "The Amazing Caber-boy". :D

Traditionally, Scotsmen don't wear anything underr their kilts. I hear that they do use briefs during caber tossing and similar events, though, since the kilt tends to rise during strenuous exercise. :)

So you really reckon that Scotsmen who's kilts rise at the touch of a 17 foot log would want to toss Ode? And you think that the Japanese would appreciate photos?
I feel so cheap :( ;)

It's another word for a kilt. Derives from the Gaelic feileadhbeag. Which, for some odd reason, I can't forget.

ok.... im sorry for this "war of the gender" that is going on! *L*

but what i really ment, is something like.. my experience is that, if i meet a guy, and i think he is severly (i cant say that here).. and we end up together. then he allways thinks that i want to give birth to his kids, and marry him, or something, (and then he panics) and all I want is something ALOT more fun & not so serious. :D

why do men think that they are the only ones that just want to have some fun sports!?
Dammit!

Huh? I don't want to have any fun sports. Other than those that take place in private with my wife, I mean. And I'm perfectly willing to share 'em with her.

Well, you could, but it wouldn't really be the honorable thing to do, would it? Unless your wife didn't mind, but that's not really a likely scenario.
How's the Sushmita photo mission going, BTW? :D
...I'm presently working on it. ;)

As to the Great Temptation... it's a struggle but "knowing their agenda" too helps a lot in keeping me in my proper place.

@COMMrade Fas: She didn't tame me... hell no! :D

...I tamed her...

...just a matter of properly using my Captain Caveman Club! :p :D

I believe Robnark said it all, though LOL still @Frogus. :) . Glad to see this thread didn't require my kilt to keep on going.
@Georgi-You sound quite knowledgable about what I do or do not wear under my kilt...hmm. :D

@Azmo-If you're ever in Oz look me up. ;)

sounds like you are just with some losers. if this happens repeatedly to you, it is your fault, not men's. you are picking the same kind of guy.
"if you keep doing what you always done, you keep getting what you always got"
purely physical relationships require a lot more communication than people realize. otherwise one side starts thinking the other wants something more and what was once a good thing, goes downhill.

@Nael

When it comes to relationships, nothing is EVER the "fault" of one individual; it always takes two. To suggest otherwise is profoundly hurtful on so many levels.

@Azmodan,
equally try not to let a lot of negative experiences cloud your judgement of men.....they are individuals just as are women... ;)

Rather blunt, wouldn't you say? And unfair. We have no idea whom she's dating, and whether the men fit one type, or not. For all we know, she could be stuck in a small city where the only outlet for finding single men is a meat market bar--or there may be nothing at all available. Show a little kindness, a little humanity. ;)

Huh? I don't know why men are difficult to understand. On contrary to women, we tend to mean what we say. I think it's difficult to understand WOMEN, though not completly impossibel:

If women say...
THEY MEAN

Yes...
NO

No...
YES

Maybe/Possibly/Perhaps...
NO

We need...
I WANT

I'm sorry...
YOU'LL FEEL SORRY FOR THAT

You should decide this time...
THERE'S ONLY ONE OPTION

Of course, do it if you like to...
I DONT WANT YOU TO DO THAT

We need to talk...
I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT STH.

No, I'm not angry...
OF COURSE I'M ANGRY, A**HOLE

You're so nice today...
PROBABLY YOU THINK ABOUT SEX ALL THE TIME

Switch the light off...
DAMN CELLULITIS

Do you love me...
I WANT SOMETHING REAL EXPENSIVE

How much do you love me...
I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING YOU WON'T LIKE

You really need to learn to communicate more reasonably...
YOU SHOUD BE OF MY OPINION

Nothing, really...
IT'S JUST THAT YOU'RE SUCH AN A**HOLE

I heard noise downstairs...
I NOTICED YOU HAVE BEEN SLEEPING

I want new curtains...
AND CARPETS, AND FURNITURE, AND WALLPAPERS...

The kitchen ist terribly impractical...
I WANT A NEW HOUSE

I know you meant this as a joke, but I have to disagree. This is the one stereotype that should never be encouraged. If a woman says "no", it is compulsory upon all men everywhere to always take this answer at face value. No matter what. End of story. No means no. Period.

Promoting the idea that a woman doesn't know what she means when she says "no" and that men know better is the most detestable sort of sexism imaginable. I would like to see this idea, even as a joke, expunged from human societies forever.

I myself would argue that stereotpyes in general shouldn't be encouraged, not this one and not any others either.
