I had registered for days before I actually posted anything. Having a question was a good excuse to kick my rear in gear. It was months before I started coming to SYM for non-game related threads (I originally thought it was a worthless den of spammers and miscreants… Not that it’s changed much since then).

I always wondered about that too, @Tyb, but then again, I was an unknown guy making an obscure joke, so what was I to expect?

Thats true. Its rare for a newbie to have strong reactions when a joke is placed right out of the gates. Thats the problem with first impressions. You only get one. *sigh* cliches. Gotta love them.

Most of them have over 200 posts, some over 1000 (Chrissy, Drakron[one of the coolest members here], vixen): Some may have been here before you started posting here, some come around now and then, most of them have moved, I think pope still posts in BlackIsle, atleast till a few months ago, he was the first member I knew, because I had known him from the BGDungeon Tavern (huge forum, 20,000+ members, very very busy, but then shutdown because the guy who ran it really couldn't handle so many people) days. Drakron was posting there too but that was a while ago. I wonder if he got into NWN? Armadin was the Pope's new account, and he was much better as a member than he was, but I guess lost interest. Blacksheep, another member I've knew who was around when i joined. Azeroth, Fezek, and Rail come around now and then. Bordin Steelaxe, really old member, but he is the greatest dwarf ever, so I put him up there.


Anyway just a list of other SYM members that I remembered.

Oh my god... I know this thread is pretty old by now, but so am I as mentioned in the above post. Uhm, I just wanted to express my gratitude that someone remembered me after all and put me on that list.

On a sidenote I just wanted peeps to know that I'm back (once) again. I'm wondering how long I'm going to last this time around

Ode to a grasshoper seems to have a different name as well. With all the logging in problems and such I'm somewhat suprised you still have your old account.

Yeah there seem to be a lott of problems concerning logging in.
Rudar told me he can't log in unless het gets a paid account or something... but he could be doing something wrong.
