But if one can define something as spam, is it still spam? Is the process of defining a post in fact the one thing that removes the spam label and turns it into a legitimate post?

Whoa.....wait a minute....what did you just say?

If you can define SPAM, it doesnt disqualify SPAM in general. The process of defining a post is just that. That in itself, is not SPAM. To disect a SPAM post and analyze it would remove its SPAM contents, because then that SPAM would actually have meaning, and would then make it inelligible for that specific post as SPAM. But if a SPAM post was to just lie there, unnoticed or nothing is derived from that post, it can still be considered SPAM regardless of what else happens. So thats when SPAM isnt turned into a legit post.
