There is ugliness and foul stench

Dragons eat treasure and excrete pain
Did you not smell the pain?
It was there at the entrance
Of the lair
Why did you not run when you had the chance?
What possessed you to love a Dragon?
Can a Dragon know anything of love?
Other than want
Are you the next treasure to be offered up?
The Dragon is free from its prison now
You have chosen a strange creature to champion
See its chin on your knee
You are the only good it sees
Can you teach a Dragon to love?
Dragons are not loving creatures at all
How patient are you
To what extent will you endure this creature?
After all, what can this Dragon give you?
Songs of myst on the edge of reality
Trespassing through life
Soaring to empyrean heights just to tumble back again
Do you recognize this Dragon?
What makes her worth the pain?
Is this your Dragon?
Have you come to claim her again?
Then claim her and know her as yours
But never forget she is a Dragon
