Sorry to answer so late, but I just saw your question, Manveru...

I'm a Cavalier, finished once with minsc, valygar, anomen, imoen and aerie... and currently playing 2nd with 4 of my own...

(Same cavalier, F/T, totemic druid and a mage...)

What do you expect in ToB from Druids ?

I believe that they will be much better. Their level table in BG2 is terrible.

I agree with you. The creators must have noticed that so I believe it will be changed... Druids will be much better.

(I sure do hope so!! :D ;) )

Yeah, they have to be better, now they are kinda useless, due to low level, only way to get out any of them is multiclassing.

in ToB, what kinda spells do you expect?
We know of the "summon angel" or whatever creature that is, and that storm, but what more?

I think i read somewhere that druids were getting a revamp in ToB. but theri levels/spells still being less than pure clecis. but that tey were to get more/and more powerful spell like abilities somewhat in line with old 2nd ed high level druid abilities.

or i could be wrong - we will have to see.

Why would such a cleric gets a massive bonus? sounds very unfair..

Anyone knows what the special "quest" spells do, and how they are gained?

Also the other abilities

What do you mean what do they do? If you mean what do they make a Deva is like an Angel/Demon (Good/Evil) Mass raise dead is obvious, Aura of Flaming Death I think is the ignition of an area in flame (maybe like (Un)Holy Smite. Energy blades are disks of pure energy to fire at people (I thought it was only mage?) Implosion sucks somebody inside themselves. Storm of Vengeance is a massive lightning stoem to take out enemies (fire, lightning etc).
Globe of Blades is like the spell for clerics now, the one where blades surround someone I forget what it is called. Hope this helps

hi,
i know i'm not really in the right place but i play Ranger(dualed to)Cleric.
and my cleric just got over lvl9 so i got my ranger abillity's back and he really rocks.
it is really nice to have all the cleric and druid spells.
i gave him 2* in warhamer/flail/mace and 3* in dualweilding.
so i play with the Flail of Ages and Crom Feayr (duh :D )

i heard that in ToB u can make the FoA better
u could make it into a +5 weapon and u can get 2 more heads.
IIRC it would give fire, ice, acid and also electricity and poison (but i'm not sure about the last one) it also not gives 1 damage of those sorts but +2
so 10(!) extra dammage of 5 different sorts good for hitting almost everything.
the upgrade FoA allong with the Crom i think my char will be unstoppeble.

does anybody know if the Crom will be updated in ToB???

As far as I heard the crom won't be upgraded in ToB, but all the stuff you told about FoA are true, that's include the +2 poison dmg...
