well... i guess i shood jus keep her in mind...
Um, no. Drop all thought of her. She's made her opinions clear through her friend, even if she doesn't have the guts to say it to your face.
Simply grow. Learn more, read me, experience more. Find new interests and activities. You'll meet more people, and you'll find other friends and potential romantic interests.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Well said, oh moderator.
Amazing still how both of us focused on two different aspects of his recent post, no?

Err, would you mind translating that to full words, fable? There are a few internet acronyms I have yet to learn.

Indeed. GMTA.
Sorry to correct you, oh fabled deity, but shouldn't that be GMTD (as in: great minds think differently), in order for it to be a compliment?
If both of you focused on different aspects of the same post, and great minds think alike, wouldn't it follow that one of your minds isn't great? Or is my deductive reasoning out of practice?

Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

I would disagree here a bit. It would be wise to check yourself everybody says something to criticize you. If it is true work on it, if it is bull**** then wolfguards policy applies. People see us different and it is always good to fix your bad habits.

Yes. The last thing that many (if not all) people want is to not have any friends because of immodesty. You may not make everyone happy, but you have to TRY to show some respect whether they respect you or not.
Let's face it, respect and kindness aren't about 'give and take' or expecting something in return. Sometimes you won't get some no matter what. Still, being modest, kind, and respectful without expecting a positive reaction is far better than neglecting other's feelings to you and making situations worse.

No, because as separate entities, we could still arrive at the same conclusion from different directions--like two different points on the rim of a circle, seeking the center.
Um, sorry for the geometrical spam.

i'll try and find a girl that appreciates me for who i am and not what i look like[/QUOTE]
i really didnt mean that After I actually THOUGHT about what she said "ok you can IM me, if you want" i thought she meant that she didnt like me and she didnt want to be my friend... at all... but i still sucked in my gut took a deep breath and i asked her out. To my surprise she said yes... well actually, she said, "what? OH OF COURSE I'D LIKE TO GO OUT WITH YOU!" *kisses me* when she said "if you want" she didnt want to sound like she actually liked me... you see it's a instinct to kids these days to deny their liking of someone (so she said if you want to cover her love for me) because we are much shyer than we think trust me it's a surprise even to me anyway, my problem is over and i am now currently dating her and for those of you who just want to know, she actually did like me before i actually asked her out... isn't that AMAZING! it's like I was destiny bound

Yes, young women (especially in America, from what I've been told) are quite ambiguous about their feelings, which may lead to much frustration for TONS of young men.
Hey, wait a minute. I thought you said she had a boyfriend. Did she make him disappear or something?
Disclaimer: The top paragraph of this reply is not meant to trash on women. This is a figment of the truth, plain and simple.

Are you aware that in the very message that you quoted, Darc_Elv_Nyte said that he didn't really mean what he had said? What does that tell you about young men, hmm?

Me: put simply.... No
