Of course we are! We'll do anything to insult Ik. :p
Fiona is my friend, and you will listen to her.

@CM: We shall use it, yes. You will from this moment on refer to me as the Worthy Academic or Blessed Academic or Academic Devinity.

@Arno_v: I will not talk to you again for the entire ramadhan period. "Nuff said", ***** :p (This promise is void.)

I can't be nice to you, Rav. I want to treat everybody as equals! The fact that I remembered your name, means I'm already making an exception. :)

Divinity, Devinity, same to me.

Maybe I should start a cult around me. There's the empty Brynn temple that I coud redecorate and refurnish and enough brainless, desorientated followers once I found a way to close the Spam Factory.

Ramadhan, to keep on topic...

No no you see Hill, you being an academic is fine. But Ik being an academic is a bad thing, the word takes on different meanings because of the person. Like being sexual is fine for the average person. Being sexual on SYM is a completely different thing  :D

That totally depends here, on whether or not there are sheep... then this place goes totally wrong compared to the real world, convieniently located behind the dancing turkey in the window. :D (Almost thanksgiving... its a gift that the gf wants to put up, and who am I to argue? )

But I see the problem with Ik... you really dont want him to have too much of anything... :D

Well, Fas, if it's any consolation, I am feeling an extension of your pain of not eating. My close friend Gypsy has beomce quite irritable lately as well with the lack of food, and she insists on taking it out on me.

The room was cool and dim. A single shaft of sunlight entered through a chink in the curtain and lit the glass case above the mantelpiece. It might have been planned that way. The chlorocannon in the case seemed to glow. Fiona looked at it for a long time. What did it mean ? He had given it to her in her hour of need. A need that he had engineered in the first place. Was he the nicest person she had ever met ?.......

It was a sunny midday, nothing was out of the ordinary. But ik realized one thing was: His thoughts. Invisible, but so obviously altered, like a scar on his brain. "Fiona"; the word echoed through his mind. And he wondered. Will we ever be together, under the midnight moon?

Life had been so confusing lately. Fiona had been living quietly, content with the easy tenor of her days. Once, just once, she broke the rules. Too much to drink, a rash action. Now she was embroiled with these people. They appeared at random intervals; said strange incomprehensible things; exposed her to random violence and threats. And proposals of marriage. Would life ever be the same again. Did she want it to be.........?

While wandering through the streets heading home from the store, Hill sees a young girl sitting on a doorstep, deep in thought. "How odd," He thought, "That one so young and beautiful be so troubled on a beautiful day such as today."

He continued to walk, the bag he carried hitting his leg with every movement forward, and watched as she mumbled to herself and went inside. He had a vague feeling of reconition, but it passed as she entered the door, looking as if she had just woken up from a ten year sleep. Yet still somehow she looked shapely.

"Very odd indeed." he muttered to himself, and turned the corner onto another road, his thoughts following him.

It had been a mistake to go outside. People here were allowed to take their thoughts out for a walk. She had forgotten that. It had been a shock. Luckily there was a bye-law which meant that certain thoughts had to be kept on a leash and muzzled. Still, it was hard to get used to seeing them following people around.

Hill crept back towards the girls house in the middle of the night, and slowly made his way for the bushes. He had noticed her watching him walking down the street with his thoughts, and saw that her own had been unmuzzled...

After removing Ik from a particularily good position with a telescope aimed at her bedroom window, he sat there and waited.

Finally, clutching several bottles of the good whisky, she stumbled in giggling to herself. Sitting herself down, she logged onto her computer and entered the domain of SYM...

After lurking for several minutes, she saw what she wanted to see. "Perfect, the little bugger wont know what hit him," she muttered to herself, writing out a painfully scathing retort. She started purring as she posted it. Dancing with glee, she popped over the bookcase, where the glass case holding her now weapon of choice, the clorocnannon, sat. She slowly walked back, and turned the chlorocannon to full, blasting her computer. She laughed as the people trying flirt with her withered and melted.

After puting the hose back, she started to drink again. Shivering after what he had just seen, Hill leaves his place from the bushes, stepping around where Ik had decided to spy, he slowly walked away, just in time for Fiona to come out to see who was in the bushes. Hiding behind the garbage cans, she immediately found Ik, and said,"Oh, Ik, its great I found you, I need someone to rub this cream on my back..."

With a gurgling scream Hill ran at the door, only to see it close in his face, and hear "Fiona, your limbs are so pliable..."

His gallant attempt at rescuing Ik was doomed to failure from the first. There was no IK; no telescope. There certainly was no girl capable of using a lethal weapon or a scathing retort. His enemies had provided a faulty muzzle and his thoughts had turned on him. It was bound to happen once he got away from the orderlies. So sad :(
