I am very responsible, check this out:
1.I was head boy/prefect at both my schools
2.With an A level in english grammar I'll edit messages for prounounciation, spelling mistakes, punctuation, and any other errors in a post.
3.I hate it when people post trash that gives forums like this a bad name.
: Mad :
I'm a nice social guy, so come on, I know that I've only just joined, but I'm a hard worker!!! please gimme a chance

ROFLMAO.
I think the *last* thing a moderator should do is edit spelling mistakes. There are a lot of people on these forums for whom English is not their first language. Then there are people who just plain suck at grammar (me
).
Editing their posts would annoy them.

I have had to kerb the temptation to start editing grammar and/or spellling, it is just patronising and i am sure no one would appreciate it.

I would actually appreciate that enormoulsy, since I always want to develop my language skills. But it would take a lot of your time, and every member on the board would think I always posted horrible things, since all of my posts would end with "edited by mr Sleep"

I wouldn't mind either. I wouldn't want a spelling error of mine hanging around the forum for all eternity.

As my English teacher used to say never start a sentence with the word 'but'.
I would hate to do that job, it is so patronising, i believe i posted that before but i shall expand upon that comment.
I am Welsh but my main (and only) language is English, i have spent nearly my whole life speaking English. I try to be good at everything that i do, i speak and write a lot of the time, so it is only natural that i would become proficient in the use of the English language.
It is only natural that this board would become multi nationality, i can not speak any other languages, so to start editing someone elses posts just because there are a few spelling mistakes seems improper. I would in essence be lauding the fact that i am profiecient with my language, when i have no ability with any others.
I hope you understand what i mean.
