As they approach the spot the elf was, they find a burnt out campire. As they get closer to the campfire they find the elf strangled and mutilated. IT looks as if something very large and with claws attacked the elf.

Krahdt stops short suddenly and looks over at Argantes holding up the cloak "Well, he won't be needing this now will he?" and starts to search the campsite to attempt to find any signs of what could have attacked the elf.

"I will hunt the beats that killed the elf, for taking my hunt."

"That would be wise, chances are it picked up our scent and trail anyways. It could end up hunting us down when it ends up hungry again. I'd rather surprise it than the other way around. Might as well see what this cloak does. Would you have any spells which would help identify this? If we have a magic item, we might as well use it."

As they are rifling through the campsite they hear 2 voices in unison. "Get away from there! What have you done to this elf?" Two royal guards emerge from the Wild. "Explain your presence here. Are you merchants?"

"Aye, we came back to our campsite to find this elf killed here and our cart gone. Would you like to see our permit good sir's?"

*Argantes puts the hood of his robe on quickly and stares down to him Pentagram.*

Krahdt walks over with the permit in his hands and holds it out towards the guards "Whatever did this killed this poor elf at our camp and our goods are now gone. I was just telling my companion we should track down the creature who did this, I hope this wouldn't be a problem?"

"You say a creature did this? What kind of creature? I've heard rumours of Lupines around this part, but you don't actually think a werewolf came this close to the city? We shall aid you, in the name of Jrolle." Lead the way to the beast.

The second guard points to a spot in the bushes. "Look there, all those knocked down trees. I imagine it came thourgh there."

"Well, it was definately something with claws, and look...there, he was strangled. So, it wasn't just a mindless beast to strangle and then mutilate the body was it? We'd appreciate your aid, it may be quite dangerous."

Krahdt looks towards the spot where the trees were knocked down and nods his head towards Argantes in the direction of the trees and walks towards them and into the forest.

*Argantes takes his hood off and walks into the forest with the gaurds and his companian.*


"There are many deaths that have been caused out of hatred in this place."

As they walk through the woods they come upon horse tracks, the begin to follow them to a clearing. In the clearing they find a horse, mutilated in much the same way th Elf was. A man comes running out of the clearing. "My Steed! What have you done to my Steed?" He raises his sword ready to fight "Explain yourselves or taste my steel."

By force of habbit Argantes pulls out a dagger and a small cleaving axe, and redies him self for a battle.

"Now there is nothing to stop me form feed on a soul, especialy from an innocent!"

*Argantes waits for the mans next move examining the mans garmet, looking for a weak spot.*

Krahdt growls "What's with the assumption's?! I'm getting irritated. What did YOU do to that horse and that elf back there...HMM?"

"Kradht, I am on the Verge of killing this fool."

"Me too. We still don't know what happened to my companion Sourav, and that's twice I've been accused of a murder I had no part of today! Explain yourself human or you'll need more than a blade to defend yourself!"

"Perhaps we could postpond this elf and his mysterious death and look for sourav."

"Aye, but I don't think these guards want to let us out of their sight yet. Not to mention Mr. sword happy over there."

Krahdt turns towards the man "Put your steel down, NOW, or I'll have to hurt you with it!"

watching as the group moves on sourav follows from distance seeing the body and the gaurds escourting them away , sourav sneaks into the camp and sends his hawk to keep tabs on kradt & argantes.

sourav stoops down and begins to try and put the clues together , the tracks the body what type of creature was it ? his hawk calls from a distance sensing danger sourav draws an arrow from his quiver and stalks of into the undergrowth

*The mysterious swordsman speaks, ennuciating clearly*
