So your roots involve the unnatural use of vegetables and the body parts of animals?
As my roots are partially in Scotland, yes. :D
I wouldn't put the bagpipes in the same category of marmite! The bagpipes"]

The bagpipes have an interesting history. They had a place in war...hence, skewering an Englishman. :mischief:

I was more or less considering scarfing down some haggis, washing it down with a marmite sandwich, and then proceed to blow chunks as I happen to consider marmite to be far, far more distasteful than haggis. I am perfectly willing to try haggis - you never know, I might like it. :o

I thought as much! It was the way you danced a Highland fling while typing all the time. It comes across in your posts, you know.

Personally, I thought the Scots had the musical victory in the Rebellion period, whatever else the English had. :D

Just between the two of us--and don't breathe a word of this to anybody else on SYM!--I might enjoy haggis, too. But I would sooner use marmite as tile grout than put it in my cakehole. I've got standards, I have. ;)

Maybe the problem is that it fits in a little too obviously... like we're all used to names like that now, so she's made up a very typical one... all as part of a grand nefarious scheme to shock our socks off later!

A scheme to do what? To prove at some point down the road that she's actually sweet and angelic? :D
