I was in the room that is the Maze. I would like to spend more time in there but My PC is sort of Lagging in play. I have a hard time controlling the action because of the delay.

I have gone into the room with the zombies that protect one of the "winds of ?". There is a mage in there that casts spells on me,,plus I cannot not seem to hurt him even though I am putting some hits on him,, it's not enough to kill him. or he is being healed by something. It's the room with the purple light in the center with the power in the middle. Not sure which of the winds it is.

That is the Wind of the Dead. You can only harm it when its defences drop (I think this is when it stops glowing but I may be wrong). Basically, every now and then the zombies will all die and between then and them being resurrected again, the wind is vulnerable. Just be careful of the larger zombie as he does a lot of damage.

Large Zombie ??. Hell, I'm having trouble with the small mazes. I guess then it's keep running away
until the guard goes down. Does it take long to kill the Wind of dead once your start hitting on him ?. Also my companions keep attacking the bad guys and get them selfs killed.

Just let your companions die, as they can always be resurrected afterwards :) (thats what I do lol).

What is your character? If you have anything like stoneskin or ironskin, use it. If you have any area spells use those too. I tend to just buff myself up insanely then just stand and hit the wind lol whether it is vulnerable or not and ignore the zombies, except the large one which I run away from lol or kill. It usually takes about 3 or 4 sets of attacks (i.e. zombie resurrections) to kill the wind, depending on how much damage you do.

Have you tried just standing a safe-ish distance away and just firing arrows at the wind, and when the zombies get to close just run somewhere else and continue doing the same?

Close but no cigar

B][/b] Yes I have done that. My side kicks just jump right on into the battle and they somehow last if I'm healing them.
I have managed to kill the wind of death but there is this one Greater Wizard Zombie that takes hits and out last me in hit points. I'm constantly healing myself and he is barely injured no matter how many hits we put on him.

Have you picked up the orb that contains the wind (from its remains)? If so, then there should be a way out (look for a door with lightning/electricity flowing through it and just walk through it). I may be wrong, but I don't think you have to kill the greater zombie.

If your sidekick died, then you will have to go back to where the wind was and resurrect him/her before leaving (then they should follow).

Once you have all 3 winds, you have to put them in the chest in the centre of Undrentide (in the room with the stairs with the blue magic barrier blocking your way).

Hmmm ??? the plot thickens.
Thanks again.

How would I know to do that ?. Is that written on something, or a book, or someone to inform me of the hundreds of characters I meet ?.

I think the thing with the winds is explained in one of the many books as it was something that I was told to do either by a person in the game or a book (I think it was a book). Its easy enough to find the chest. In the area where the slave merchant is, there will be a room in the centre. enter that room and have a look around and you will spot the chest.

As for resurrecting, if this is what you are referring to with your post then you will need either a scroll of resurrection or a rod of ressurection. Then just go to your henchman's body and use the scroll/rod on him/her and they will come back to life.

Mr.Sir,, I found my Henchmen and lucky for me he was barely alive. I brought him back, no problem.

I somehow wondered into the "Wise Wind" Area. Before that there is Pedestal and two books on each side. You read the script and you are tranported to an area. I went to this place and the Wind was there near another door with Electricity. I fought him but my weapon is not effective on him. The hench men does damage and so does the Bear,, but I can't for some reason. It doesn't matter because he just heals himself and ends up killing all of us.

Did I end up there too soon ?.

When my character writes the story there are Three choices. Do I do all of them or am I to pick the correct one ???.

The option you choose when you write the story just decides the location in which you fight the wind, its purely aesthetic though unless you have high INT, in which case a 4th option appears which gives an area with the wind and a chest full of jewels.

As for the wind itself, this is the toughest wind IMO. It heals itself constantly. If you can't damage it or hit it then I'd suggest buffing up as much as possible and just keep going. Chase after it when it disappears and keep trying to do as much damage as possible. It may take a while and its hard work but you'll get there in the end.

Mr Sir

If that wind is the hardest then what is the second hardest wind and where is it ?. :>)

What type of weapon do I need ?. I have a magical weapon ( sword of fire ? ) but many you have to kill him with something else ?. Maybe Acid or spikes ???

I rarely play as anything but a sorceror these days so not sure what damage to use, but isaacs lesser/greater missile storm kills it and thats magical damage. The best idea would be to right click on the wind itself. This should bring up its info, including any invulnerabilities it may have.

Ok, I'm done with that one. I have the sphere and now I went into the room that has the talking Rat.
Went to the room where the portals keep regenerating Nasty, Evil little woman in hoods that every time I get close they keep coming through the portal. There is no way off this Island (looking place) to the adjacent piers. I see there is another entrance on the other side. Should I go back and do another route ?.

Step into the portals :) You have to navigate your way through it. Each portal will take you to a section of the Shadow world and in that section there will be more portals to take you back to the 'real' world. You have to try to make your way to the entrance on the other side.

I got the second sphere. It was rewriting the endings to a few stories. The romance, and the Karcus (?) both help me kill the Wise wind. I just sort of fell into that one.

I have tried taking ( walking into ) the portal,, nothing happened ?.
I'll try it again but is there an easier one then say an other ?.
