No, but it's easier to get stumped on the actors... The movies are easy so long as you have some general idea you can throw out the one big name in the thing. At least for me *shrug*.

Beverly Hills Cop

Hahah thank you

Hmm... usually I end up trying to remember what the hell the main character looked like. :D

Jonathan Banks.

He was big in the nineties. You should get it. Or at least, you should when I get back in half an hour. :D

Dammit see this is what I mean... No idea. I need the database again.

Ok, something called "Dark Blue". There's no way you'll get this without help. In fact I have reason to believe you're cheating as is: he's listed as a random thug. There's no way you know who plays a random thug in a 1984 movie.

Your right. I don't know anyone from Dark Blue.

However, for the cheating thing... there was an interview with dear Mr. Banks a while ago on Spike in the SCI special that was on, where he mentioned his time as a Thug on Beverly Hills Cop. In fact, I believe his name was Zach or something, at least, that's what I remember Maitland calling him.

What did you expect me to put, Eddie Murphy?

EDIT- Kurt Russell. That's what the wife-to-be on the couch says.

I'll just assume she's right because I've never heard of the thing myself, and also compliment her for putting the two of us to shame... ;)

Alright, Kurt Russel... Ah yes:

Escape From LA

And yes, I was expecting Eddie Murphy or Judge Reinhold...

By the way, from what I remember, Zach was a major character in that movie... I think he was the one who killed Mikey. Ever seen the movie?

All I remember from it is 'Banana Protection'. :D

Peter Fonda.

Yes but not in awhile. I don't remember any names, but you may be describing the dude who kills Axel's friend Mike or Mark or whatever his name was right in front of him and then flees to California where axel follows him and everyhting starts happening. I just dont remember if his name was zack, but if that's the guy then I know who you're talking about and he did play a fairly prominent part in the movie. *shrug* Still never heard of the dude who palyed him, but that's cool.

Peter Fonda... Oh here's a great one but you may not have seen it. It may only have been a TV movie but it was still fairly famous:

Gideon's Trumpet

There was one other prominent name in the movie and that's why i think you have a shot...

I've read the book. I didn't even know there was a movie.

EDIT- I checked. John Houseman. Damn, I have to see that movie if it has that guy in it. :D

*nods* It's not a bad movie, but it's a little boring. I actually just thought of an even more famous name who was in it: a much older Fay Wray. Houseman was who I was looking for though. He's great. :D

Here's one of my favorite movies of all time and was an obscure one, but has just an ungodly number of semi-famous names in it.

The Cheap Detective

Louise Fletcher. She was in Aurora Borealis as well, I already posted it.

by TonyMontana1638
Yes she was, but I was honestly expecting you to go with one of the many other big names like Abe Vigoda, Phil Silvers, Madeline Kahn, Ann Margaret, Eilleen Brennan, Peter Falk... I must've watched that movie a thousand times. :D Used to watch it with my grandparents.

As for fletcher she was also, famously, in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Won an Academy award too.

I'm supposed to be going for the easy ones? Oh... ok then. :o

Jack Nicholson.

<snip - Sorry, I thought you said 'Grammy'. :o >

Hahaha  I didn't say that, but when I was thinking of the movie she didn't come to my mind for whatever reason. You're right though she's probably the most famous out of all of them.

Nicholson?... It's a well-known movie but there weren't too many big names in it, so

The Shining

Oh god, your right, there isn't many big names in that one... the only one I have an inkling of is Shelley Duvall. :o

It did win a Saturn Award, though. I remember that. I'm off... my brain hurts. I had to think too hard for the last one.

Yup, she's the only one I could think of too. That dude who can see stuff like the little kid (the old one who gets killed) was identifiable too but I don't know his name.

The only other movie I can think of that she was in was

Annie Hall

C ya Hill, it was fun! :D
