To all who read this, EternalKnight, Kyrian Darkstar and Sir Percy in particular, I will make a clear statement.
Messages solely intended to attack someone in specific or groups in general, without adding ANY form of either constructive criticism or information, will NOT be tolerated, and be edited by us (the Moderators) or completely deleted. In the worst case scenario, the writer of the message will be banned (however, that'll only happen when multiple warnings didn't get through to the person in question).
We are all here to play a GAME for FUN. We do not know every single detail of it, might lack some useful info on a quest or whatever, and that was why GameBanshee came to existence ... to provide exactly that information. This site is supposed to be friendly and helpful to the people visiting here, and that 'friendly' does not only apply to us (the staff of GameBanshee) but also to the visitors. Chronical jerks will not be tolerated.
We are all individuals, with our own code of ethics and morals, and any decently behaving person CAN and WILL respect the opinions of others. Everyone should have the right to speak what's on his or her mind, as long as whatever that is, is not offending to anyone. The message that started this topic was clearly out of line here.
To turn to cheating in particular: as long as this does not happen in a Multi-Player environment (unless all participants agree to it), I couldn't care less. I'm not there to see what the other person does, will not know or experience what happens to MY game because HE/SHE cheats, and in general it will NOT spoil my fun. If that other person wants to cheat and has means to do so, more power to that person. If this is the way this individual is getting more fun for the money he spent, I have no problem with it at all. And even if it doesn't give him more fun, it doesn't affect me in the slightest. What Ron is doing is providing a means to help those who don't know how to alter their game where they would like to do so, and he provides this service for free. In that, I applaud him, he's a great guy to sacrifice his free time to help others, and gain nothing except their gratitude.
Once again, remarks aimed to solely attack, offend or otherwise negatively affect another person, without it clearly being in jest (the smilies do give away a lot in this respect), WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
