Pardon for interrupting the dirt and sardine conversations. :D According to CE, I'm hardly recognizable from my earlier photo, so here's another one. (In the background you see the City Hall of Stockholm, where the Nobel Price dinners are held.)

Of course I have forgiven you for coming from Cheshire - I am still not sure if I can let you off with your claim that you were Lancastrian though! :D How is the car these days? ;)

The car is lovely. The exhaust pipe and two days car rental cost 88 quid. Not bad.

That is very good going! The last time I had to replace part of the exhaust it cost me 250 (cheapest source) - and no car hire! ;)

I have to admit , the garage I went to in London for my first quote was asking for 325. "Bog off", I says.

Nice pic Astafas, although I don't find you more recognizable on this one either :D You see the problem lies not in your pictures, I think they both show well what you look like, the problem lies in my total inability to remember and recognise faces. Among my friends and colleuages, I'm famous for all the stupid and embarrasing situations this has led to :D

*Viv tries to say 'Bog off' without laughing but is unable to. Ends up adding it to a large, well used book entitled Sleep and Yshania languages*

Gnu: Nice picture :) *hugs* ;)

Weasel: Ha! I play Civ as well ;) Vivien's empire will soon come and end such COMM festivities with our army of rabbits and tree hugger enforcers!! ;)

Astafas: The background looks pleasant, and it is a nice picture :) *looks out at the ice surrounding her and sighs*

Edit: And not to forget McBane! Appropriate props! :D

I am shocked that you always imagined me with a beer bottle. I do have some bad news concerning the photo....That beer is no longer with us......It's life was cruelly cut short...I think it took me about 60 minutes on Xmas day to finish it. My family thought it cruel of me not to share, but hell, it was a present to me!
