Thanks guys. I had some fun writing it. The fun part is that what I wrote has actually happened between a friend and myself. Though, when it happened to me, she yanked me by the collow, not the belt, and I fell a bit more than a couple feet.
@Z: It's not so much a vendetta, it's just an act borne from boredom and mischief.
Actually, it was the easiest way I could think of bringing myself into the fold of things.

A true story eh? That must've hurt...
I agree, it totally is the easiest way. Heck, why else would someone wander into a war zone? This way they can eat some orc-burgers, get some trophies, sell some equipment - quite a vacation in Amn.

Think of these two as thrill seekers of a sort.

well, BB only hates orcs for trying to use his power against the gnolls, and the same for the gnolls usin him against the orcs lol.
@Demortis: A fan of my characters? I'm flattered. I hope I don't disspoint with Aegis and Gypsy.
Nice intro Aegis, a fighter with a glave. i like that.well so far, we have a lecherious (sp?) monk, a gnome with a mental disorder(s), a half orc that doesnt know what side hes on, a druid that subs as a mage/fighter, with problems of her own. and several women that are a bit high strung.

Hmm, I think Gypsy would enjoy partaking in that particular experiment...

Ahhh...too much deep thinking.

*crosses horse off mental list of possible animal transmutations*
Don't worry, I haven't exhausted the list yet...
Since I am at my parents' place for the week and don't have my DnD books, can anyone tell me whether bardsong is affected by magic resistance? So would a character like BS, with high magic resistance, be susceptible still to bardsong, or not? And @BS would it produce the same ill effects as normal magic, or not?

Bard song isn't considered Arcane, thus spell resistance would mean little. It's more of inspiration boosting, or demoralizing. In other words, BS is going down

LOL

I was just using BS as an example, but now you mention it...
I'm thinking that Amira knows various songs with different spell-like effects, such as hold person or confusion - would the same apply?

@Z, Ned, everyone else
I think I'm gonna send Setanta out to the woods after the orcs. Which group of orcs would I run into? Snirf will probably be right behind him since he knows the trouble that Setanta is about to get into. I guess anyone else could follow (BS, Demo... and what happened to TM?).

lol! Seasoned how?

Perhaps with a touch of rosemary and a drizzle of olive oil? Nah... that sounds too sophisticated for the orcish palate...
Oh and weclome, btw, Aegis

Maybe they'll just quarter him and cook 'em up on the barbi. If he gets turned into a chicken again, Setanta may beat the orcs to it!
