You can try...
Just remember that I had absolutely no part in your downfall - I never attacked one of your units, nor did I have any bad feeling towards you. OK? But if you're next to me in the next game I'm not GMing, I'm gonna kick your arse

Not likely....it was other people refusing to believe you were a threat that led to my downfall
That, and I was to big a back stabber

Firstly, look at the move history - I did nothing to you...I mean, I did plenty to Austria and Italy, and then Russia
, but that was the extent of my attacks...
And you a backstabber? Looked to me as if you just rolled over and died

Actually, I don't know if he'll ever trust me again in the same way...
I'd already told him that when it was just us two remaining, I'd throw it and let him win. Too bad you're still in, huh?
Just remember people, Diplomacy is all about knowing when to make alliances and when to break them. If an alliance is advantageous, I'll attempt to make it no matter how much we sank our teeth into each other in the last game. If you don't put past failures/stabs behind you in future games, it's a sure way to lose pretty much immediately...
Oh and BS - judging from how easily we used him, no I don't think he can back it up. Wow, so much anger...next game's gonna be fun. I can't wait. Is everyone still OK with me GMing it?

No - you aided our plans magnificently until I decided you had to go - and then you went.

Im starting to feel abit silly bumping this thread...
Should we consider Russia in civil disorder? In that case the game seems to be yours unless you've recieved some kind of serious head injury... is that the case?

Well according to latest intelligence Russia is enjoying a leisurely holiday in a resort not too far from nowhere - and in a week the Tzar will be back in his institute of education, where they're trying to teach him not to trust people as much...
He's not got very good Net access there, as I'm sure you're aware, but he was making noises about continuing, or letting me win and starting afresh, or somesuch. I guess with the rash of new faces about SYM we could muster up enough people for me to GM the next game - it's a bit unsatisfactory not having finished this game, but hey - on the next move I would either have won or you would have managed to stall me for another turn, I think. If you have no problems to declaring me the winner, I have no problems in nominating you for Player of the Match - under severe pressure from our Juggernaut you managed to stand firm. Well done, whether this ends here or not.
Excuse my wordiness, I've just spent 6 hours writing a 2000+ word essay and I'm not out of the mood yet

If Korn wont show up for another week I have no problems with you claiming victory. If his troops hold you should win regardless of what happens in spain.
I must also admitt I was very impressed by your prediction of the moves last turn.
Good game everyone.
