Yes, yes... Puffy and Flammie... one of SYM's greatest parallelisms. Image
Didn't you know? I'm not a Gandalf wannabe, I'm a Legolas wannabe. :cool: I can just picture Tasslehoff Burrfoot being a mage... :D Tas was the best Dragonlance character anyway.

I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about... ;)

I agree, Tas was by far the best character. **hits JJ and hands it back to Eery**

Personally i liked Strum - he was the Knight of the Kingfisher or Rose or something. I was pretty upset they killed him off.

Seeya Beldin.

@Fas-Nah, Sturm was too serious and stuffy for my tastes. He also wasn't a knight during the events of the original Dragonlance novels, as revealed by Raistlin in a later novel, he was just a novice like Anomen before he passes/fails his test.
Kitiara came in as my second favourite, and Raistlin was third.

Ah yes, the tragic hero. I was really surprised they killed him. It was good to see someone on the "good" side get whacked. It would have been better IMHO if he was seduced to the dark side... :D :D

...was one of my faves too (aside from Tas). I remembered shedding a tear when he got killed valiantly fighting the blue dragon as Kitiara impaled him. He was a Solamnic Knight, Order of the Sword. :cool:

@Eery: Adios, hermano. :)

Ode and Big Mac Actually that is why i liked him.
He failed the test, but that didnt change him not like Anomen.
He stood true to his values etc etc.
And what is with all of you want everything perverted to the dark side.
It was more realistic that he died, but that doesnt mean i gotta like it :D
Sith lords all you be :p

Thanks mar, order of the sword, i knew i was missing something. That scene was really well written for a commerical book.
Havent read the books for a long time.
Need to pick up some of the newer ones.

See ya Beldin.

Actually, Sturm hadn't been accepted into the Order at the time of the War of the Lance. He was granted his knighthood posthumously.
I can't believe I remember that... :o

EDIT-@Fas-It's more fun when people are corrupted, and I'm good at corrupting them too. :D

...Lord Soth then. Image

Sturm's approved entry to the Knighthood was finally done after his trial when Derek Crownguard accused him of insubordination. When I read the verdict of the trial I literally jumped in triumph.Image

EDIT- I think he was accepted even before he died, otherwise he wouldn't be put in command of the remaining knights after the beheading of Lord Alfred and the mentally-incapacitated Derek Crownguard.

Lord Soth rocked!

The only time I got 'involved' as such reading Dragonlance was at the end of Dragons of Summer Flame, when Tas dies and the whole realm becomes more 'normal', ie. just one moon and failing magic.

If i remember correctly he was made a knight, but was done so after a very long drawn out lega affair, with the big wig supporting him with his position and life i think. I am not very good with names, and i read this like 2 years ago.

Mar now that smilie i like, where did you get that one ( the one at the very end)

@Mah: C U, bro' :cool:
@McBane: glad you dropped by today
@Fas: you were a Dark Apprentice once too, relishing in the corruption :p
@all: I'm leaving for today - as always, Dusty can take care of any orders after all the Rolling Thunderers have left ;) ** goes down to the secret lab and starts SLURRing away his sleeping pint **
