The only time I got 'involved' as such reading Dragonlance was at the end of Dragons of Summer Flame, when Tas dies and the whole realm becomes more 'normal', ie. just one moon and failing magic.
Lord Soth is the undead knight who is in love with Kit right?
I havent read Dragons of a summer flame, though i thought the power or magic of the heart is the next evolution of the plot as in what happens in the Minotour islands with the Cleric ofg Bersomething
See ya eery.

And what is with all of you want everything perverted to the dark side.
It was more realistic that he died, but that doesnt mean i gotta like it
Sith lords all you be
Thanks mar, order of the sword, i knew i was missing something. That scene was really well written for a commerical book.
Havent read the books for a long time.
Need to pick up some of the newer ones.
See ya Beldin.
What's wrong with being CONverted to the dark side. You paladins are a bit too stuffy.

C'mon, live a little.

Seeya tomorrow @Eerhardt.
@Mah-I think they needed a leader, so Sturm got put in charge, under the assumption that he was a knight.
@Fas-Yep, that was Lord Soth. IIRC the bigwig paladin had to stick up for Sturm's application to join the knighthood, I remember Raistlin telling someone-or-rather (Goldmoon, I think) that he was only made into a knight proper after his heroic death.
@McB-Yeah! Tell it like it is, my man!

...in the end, Lord Soth claimed her right after she died.
BTW, are you referring to Crysania?
@Ode: The way I remembered it, Sturm's initial application was rejected, however putting into consideration the retrieval of the dragon orb and the strength fo character of Sturm, Gunthar Uth Wistan installed him into the order under the latter's oath.
After all, at that time when The Measure had failed the Knighthood, what was only left for the real knights was their Solamnic Oath. ![Image](http://www.westwoodi.net/~smilies/otn/glasses/165.gif)

@Mah-We should start a new thread on this.
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
I bet we'd get loads of people on SYM debating it...
Raistlin mentions something about respecting Sturm all the more because he chose to abide by the Measure, even though he wasn't technically required to by virtue of not being a 'true' (ie. officially made a proper knight) knight. I think, come to think of it, he said that to BIG SPOILER

Sturm's son, Steel, who was born to Kitiara. I'm fairly certain it was in
Dragons of Summer Flame, though I may be wrong.

Sadly...
...I don't have the books with me anymore since they got burned along with the rest of our house back in 1996. I couldn't really verify them anymore.
EDIT- heading for bed too. Night everyone!

Actually mar what i am refering to is a stand alone book of the Dragon Lance series. I dont remember the name, but it was part of a 5 stand alone book series. 1 dealt with the Dwarfs underneath the mountains when Chaos was let loose the book is called the last Thane IIRC. Then there was the Siege of Nevermountain (the gnome mountain). The 5th book dealt with the Minotour islands, and with a cleric of a minotour god who gained powers to destory choas creatures. This was refered to as the power of the heart by 2 or 3 people and also the up and coming books detail it as well.
edit del mountains and changed it to islands

...I thing it was the same set of books that go along with some of the adventures of Caramon's kids.

...just thinking how we'll get by...*
The first night was the worst for me since I was at a state of shock and definitely at a denial stage. As I woke up in the garage the morning after, looked up at the charred ceiling, the smell of burnt wood told me that this was for real.
When I got back home from work I was so surprised and shocked that I left my car and straight off to look for my parents --- not realizing that I did not put up the handbrake and the car went straight to the firetruck. It's a good thing that my brother was fast enough to get in and stop the car.
But as I pause and reflect on things, I realized that as a family we were not that troubled on how we would make a new start.
Nah, we're not a rich family --- we financially get by --- but seeing my parents as pillars of strength, we their children rallied behind them and told ourselves that we will be fine.
Dad and Mom were very much composed and in control of things, I didn't worry anymore. We had a lot of adjusting to do, but yes, we survived throughm it.
Dad's strength of character inspired me to be just like him --- despite the odds one must prevail.

. My Dad is like that too and despite our differences, I believe I get along pretty good with my parents. Especially with the conflicts in our family as a whole
