Ah, Arizona. The state where my parents want to move to. You must have been at least relatively pleased about the Diamondback's World Series ring, right?

19 was a hit in the states, so it was a hit where you are aswell. People say its one of the "lost hits of the 80's". There are at least 3 other hits I like that are also considered to be in that same catagory:
1) "One Night In Bangkok" by Murray Head
2) "Major Tom (Coming Home)" by Peter Schilling
3) "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo (Which I eventually plan to post lyrics to)

All of the above are all 1-hit wonders.
I love researching this kind of stuff. 1-hit wonders fascinate me.

@ BS, of course you're unforgettable..I always keep an eye on troublemakers :p
@ Ty, I don't remember it being played here. I remember Wall of Voodoo quite well though. :) As for the series, I was happy for the D-backs but I'm a Cubs fan  At least I know what to expect :D

Maybe I should start being a troublemaker, then. ;) :D

Yes, Wall of Voodoo's song is quite memorable and funny, but since it only hit #55 on the bilboard, not many people have ever heard it.
Another song I can add to that list (Thats not a 1-hit wonder) is:
"Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo

Good to hear that theres another 80's fan here. I just like a lot of music from that era. While I never liked the big icons of the 80's like Madonna, Prince, and Michael Jackson, most 80's music just appeals to me. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, radio stations play 80's music for a few hours, and if Im home, I always tune in. Im listening to it right now.

Later BS. :)

Dang. I wonder how I would have done.
Heres a tough set of lyrics that my brother tested his friends with:
What hit song had this as its opening line?:
"Shake up the picture the lizard mixture with your dance on the eventide"

1-hit wonders are a huge part 80's music. And most of the 80's hits were 1-hit wonders.

Would you like me to tell you the answer to my brother's question?

EDIT-Well its 1:30 here. Thats the time I should head off to bed. Its been nice talking to you T'. See you later. :)

If you cared about what song it is: Its "New Moon on Monday" by Duran Duran. One of my brother's favorite bands. I dont mind them, but I dont find their music the best.

Well Im off to bed. :)
