1. I just finished a very difficult manuscript I've been working on for several months.
2. I've got free hands from my supervisor to carry out a project I've wanted to do for a long time.
3. I just got my flying tickets for my holiday the week after next week, which I look forward to very much.
4. I managed to avoid going to 2 conferences I didn't want to go to.
5. I just learnt I am getting a retroactive salary increase, probably as a token of appreciation from my supervisor.
6. Life in general is just great!
