Nvlutz has allowed me to design the monastery albeit with restrictions in size and quality due to the attack that was held against it. So, here's what I came up with, and this is for reference so that any other player who interacts with this monastery can use the map freely (whether it's RPGguy when he comes back, or if some other player happens to come across it).
This is only a basic representation and needs a LOT of work done to it, which I plan to do using the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook, but for now, just a static object in Nvlutz's campaign for Y'all!

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a368/ ... iscuit.jpg
Credit for the second pic goes to the original artist, Greatbiscuit. It just works for what I have in mind as a representation.
Anyways, features-
Each square represents 10 Sq.Ft.
1- Entrance hall to the Monastery. Front door is broken but nothing is in shambles in this room as it is mostly used for the monks' meditation, travelers seeking shelter from the ravages of the mountain, and so on.
2- Apprentice quarters. Three rows of eight beds reside here. Not all of them are used, there were only twenty apprentices at the time. Some beds may be broken, bloodstained, or destroyed.
3- Practice Hall, supply room, kitchen and dining room. This room is huge and though no walls separate the four separate types of rooms, there is still a clear distinction. Weapons left over from before are since rusted or broken. The food, aside from rations and dehydrated goods, have rotted. The kitchen is in Disarray but can easily be functional (it's rather hard to break a cast iron pan).
4- Master's Quarters. Only three beds exist here, for the two masters and the grandmaster of the Dorwick Monastery.
5- Downstairs is the library, shelves and shelves of books thrown onto the grown with no organization left whatsoever. Behind one of the shelves is a fake wall, leading to a secret room where an Artifact once resided.
S- The secret room. Though the blood is stained, this room is far cleaner than any other room though that is likely because of how small it is. A single pedestal in the center of the room is the only prominent feature. Atop the pedestal, a sphere of adamantium cracked and forced open. This was a mechanical orb that opened if the right hollow spot were hit hard enough (need: Ki Strike- Adamantine to open normally), thus gaining access to the artifact inside.
Though, with no other monk in the way of the artifact, and a gratuitious amount of time, a cutting device and some intense heat would also open it up (like a fantasy version of a welding torch).
The hill/mountainous area the Monastery sits on while it isn't a very tall mountain, it is hollow in many areas, which is what allowed the basement library of the monestary to exist. Though with any hollow mountainous area, there are bound to be hazards or even monsters about as well (both outside and in).
Overall, it's a big, empty, desecrated monastery. Not much to it yet.

Cernd-ar follows up behind you, breathing from the mouth. "Gah tastes, like ash in here."
He then pulls out a tindertwig and scratches it against the course walls of the inner sanctuary. This reveals a set of stares leading down into the depthes of the earth. You bravely move forward into the belly of the beast, the stench of it's gut growing with every step.

Arvall: Pass
Cernd-ar: 13+2=15 Pass
The two of you manage to ignore the horrid smell having easily braved far deadlier things in this town alone.
As you reach the end of the stairs you see a series of corpses starting to get in your path. The dead bodies are wearing the cultists outfit are pooled in flesh blood and the horrid burning smell smoulders from their blistered backs. There faces are twisted in agony and their eyes are wide open with pupils as small a needle's head. The most terrifying thing about the corpses is that they look as if the cultists had been trying to escape, had been attacked and then began crawling away before dying on the stairs.
Cernd-ar knees down and begins to examine the bodies to determine the cause of death...
Heal check: 8+3=11
Cernd-ar can't say for sure what exactly. Although he notices that most of the dead cultists seem to have searing burn marks in their flesh as if they had been attacked with a branding iron. But the markings are long streaming line like marks, starting deep at one point and then becoming less and less deep along the gash...
"A claw perhaps?", Cernd-ar suggests before vomiting from the stench.
You continue to move along encountering more bodies along the way, all the while something bothering you... You've never seen a claw that created that many slashing marks in what appears to be a single slash before and you've never seen a claw that sears the wounds into the victim's flesh either.
But nothing really surprises you any more around here.
You finally arrive at the bottom of the stair case, the ground is littered with bodies of townsfolk. Was this really what they wanted?
the staircase led to a giant atrium, bodies are scatterred everywhere at the entrance way, but near the far end of the other side of the room there are far fewer bodies, and a much stranger landscape.
All around the edge of the room on the far end is a weird swamp-like muck that glows with a odd aura of purple. Half submersed in the liquid are a series of 7 obelisks which bounce and float in the muck like buoys. Pinned on each obelisk is a nude cultist, their bodies distorted and twisted, with sewn on flesh falling off to reveal decayed innards filled with the same muck the demons had.
In the centre of the entire muck-pool there is a circular island cut out with an altar built in the centre. There are two unconscious/dead women there. The first one is at the base of the altar flat on the ground lifeless, like a rag doll. You quickly identify this as Ms.Farnese, she doesn't appear to be bleeding at all, but her face is contorted much like the others. Finally there is a woman with raven black hair, half-elf in a white, wedding like dress. She seems to be sleeping silently on the altar.
I've added a map, but don't expect anything too fancy since I've gotta run.
Khannon
Awesome stuff, the funny thing is that Greatbiscuit's image is actually how I had originally thought the monastary would look back when we started Khannon's story.
You decide to keep the book shelf away from the secret entrance for the moment and keep organizing the shelves. After a few hours of placing books back on their shelves you come across one dusty tome which is the book you recall seeing much of the dwarves' history being recorded in. You place it off to the side on the table where Melkior has set up shop. Before returning back to stashing scrolls away in their proper place, some of these scrolls are really old and brittle and the invaders were less than gentle. Perhaps when things have died down you'll buy some fresh inks and make some new paper and re-record the secrets hidden in these scrolls so yet another generation may appreciate their guidance.

Arvall Marshaness.
When Arvall and Cernd stumble on the first corpse, the half elf looks disgusted at the corpse and remembers his running with with the first cultist ''What just happened here'' he ask at the empty air.
As the pair keeps walking Arvall is almost about to vomit from the sight of the scene. ''What is this?'' he ask the priest and points the sabre at the altar and concentrates summoning ''detect evil'' and concentrate so the ability can work at its best.
Arvall looks around for any more signs of who did this in the corpses and then slowly walks to the seeemingly dead Ms.Farnese and checks if she is still alive or what killed her. and without approaching the altar looks at the half elf.. ''this cant be right... it was a human I saw in the that orb the halfling woman had... not a half elf'' he says out laud while looking back at Cernd ar. Looking for his advice before coming closer ''Do you sense anything priest?''

Upon using detect evil you find that you gain a secondary vision of sorts... You begin to see "winds" of evil swirling around the room as a red breeze. Looking around the room you see 3 major sources of the evil that radiate forth from.
There is a strange evil to the eastern end of the room and it seems to be faintly pulsating from the floor there, it seems like it is seeping forth from the bricks.
The next source of evil is the largest, and it unsurprisingly arises from the bog water. You look into the now crimson water with your new vision. Something seems to be coming from the depths. Now two things, then three, and then a swarm of... people. All women of different races. They arise near the surface but the top of the evil bog seems to be some sort of thin sheet of ice they can't break through.
The final source of evil is the smallest, but it is by far the most overwhelming. It blazes in your newfound vision like a miniature sun. The woman on the alter... no it's something in her womb!
You suddenly hear a voice both distant in an otherworldly sense and yet all to familiar like a friend you've known forever. "The boy is evil, he will be your doom.", The voice is firm and resolute, "Destroy it before it destroys you."
You look around to see where the voice is coming from.
"We should forget this business, battles against a foe of this kind bring nothing but ill omens."
You look up at the ceiling hoping to see if possibly some telekanetic demon is clinging to the ceiling. The only thing you seen, which you hadn't noticed before is a bizarre circular symbol. It looks faded and seems to have been slowly decaying.
"Do you see anything?", the Priest asks. You look at him and see that he emanates a fair amount of evil himself, but it is very faint. It's not even worth mentioning in this desecrated place.
You must make a heal check to figure out the condition/cause of condition of an individual.

Arvall kneels next to the corpse of the Lady and checks her sintomes (heal 1d20=9) and also asks cernd ar for his opinion.
Next Arvall looks deep at the water with the figures he feels a pull of sorts to get closer into the edge, but he maneges to shrug off the sensation.
next Arvall heads for the ''smallest'' of the evils in the room, and go to the eastern part of and take a closer look at the bricks or the ground where the evil is seeping through (spot 13+1=14) ''something is here'' he comments while looking at the ground.
Arvall decides to approach the woman last and waits until the priest is next to her and abverting his sight from the intese light in the half elf womb comments ''There is something moving in her womb and... its by far the most unholy thing I can see in here room.. or ever seen in my life'' he keeps pondering what to do with the half elf

Cernd-ar Heal check: 1+3=4
You attempt to determine the cause of death by examining the corpse of Ms.Farnese. She doesn't seem to have any visible wounds. Her eyes are wide open like most of the victims... You have no idea. You ask Cernd-ar for his opinion. He looks around and simply shrugs.
You look into the water and by this time your magical vision is slowly wearing off. You notice that the people at the edge of the water are clearly not somebody in this world, since you can't see them with your current regular vision.
Before the effects wear off completely you head towards where you sensed the evil seeping through the floor and move a couple of dead bodies out of the way.
''Something is here'' you comment while looking at the ground, you can feel almost feel air passing through the bricks.
Cernd-ar pulls out his flail, "You give the word and I'll bust us an entrance..."
"Perhaps, but right now I need you to see this...", You then lead the priest back to the woman on the altar.
''There is something moving in her womb and... its by far the most unholy thing I can see in here room.. or ever seen in my life''.
The priest looks in disgust, then he points near the crotch of the dress. There is a small trickle of blood at the crotch of the dress, "I think the seed was sewn recently."

''Could you peform an abortion?'' ask Arvall while he examines closely the half elf, ''should we get her out of here so you can properly do it with proper tools?'' meanwhile looks at the altar for any medical equipment and such things.
If Cernd ar agrees to do it then before we start the abortion we head to the place where the evil seeps through and break it to reveal the content... then we do the prosidure

I don't have much to go on at this point so for the time being I'm just going to mingle with a bunch of the people (anyone important that is, people might find it odd for me to make small talk with slaves and servants for now).
And during the small talk I'll occasionally ask about different clans, bringing up my target (whatever her name was with the born-blindness), and see if I can't get any more current information about anything going on with her (like if she's going to be out any time or if she's going to join us or something or whatever)-

He also mentions to Melkior, "When we have more time available to us, we should think about modifying the Monastery. The few rooms available now I'd prefer to stay mostly as they are, but these mountains are hollow; I've seen cave systems all around in several areas. We could expand and fortify if necessary, though I hope it doesn't come to that."
After whatever response Melkior gives, I also ask, "also, something I've been wanting to ask you and I hope you won't take this the wrong way.
You are of the living dead, normally an abomination on the living and on the mortal realm in general, and yet you fight for the living, protecting and serving in various ways but of your own accord; I doubt you're a puppet to someone else. So I have to ask, what's your reason for doing that? I can't fathom that a person who lost their soul would do this just out of the kindness of their hearts, and while I do trust you and am grateful for all your help, I have to wonder if there is any other reason you're doing this, maybe you're working towards something? Perhaps redemption? A second chance at life?
Forgive me if that seems cynical, but I've only ever known three people who would help total strangers and risk their own life for absolutely no other reason than to simply help them, in their minds they didn't need a reason to help. They were our masters and grandmaster; even the students were motivated by some other means, myself no exception. I don't view this as a bad thing, I view it as simply the way our world works so perhaps I can repay you for all the help you've given me by aiding whatever you seek....depending on what that may be of course."

You decide to mingle with the crowd in the central hall. Most people seem exceptionally busy so you instead begin weaving a path in-and-out of the crowd while trying to pick up on any useful tidbits of conversation while also looking for anyone amiss or that seems important.
You overhear two drow workers taking a break,
"Is it true that Mistress Othoran is coming tomorrow?", one of them asks.
"Yes, actually there are going to be 3 clan leaders aside from our own joining.", The other replies, "There should be members of nobility from all of the clans arriving."
"Surely not even the Val'Rune clan?!", the First one says in shock.
"Oh, of course not them. But the MOST of the clans will have at least a representative.", the other replies, "What's got you worked up over the Val'Beld's leader though?"
"Her, and her henchwomen are unnerving, what's up with the veils on the lower half of the face?"
"I heard that Othoran was a veteran of the Battle of Coppergully. There's a good chance that she was terribly scarred from the battle, physically."
The other drow lets out a disgusted face, then the drow continues
"What's more is that her entourage of "Pale Ladies" each have to scar their own faces and wear the veils as part of their initiation into the order."
After that it appears that their short break has ended and the two of them go back to work as another two sit down for their break. You go up this group and ask them about what clans would be visiting and what they could tell you about them.
The servants, one male and one female (both drow), or overjoyed (or act like it) to have your presence.
"Well there's the Val'Vloz Clan. They're from the tower east of here, they'll be the most easily recognizable they generally wear red and orange and many of there men are augmented with metal drilled and nailed into their flesh.", the female explains, "The men who survive the procedure are effective workers and soldiers for the clan, unlike some people...", She then shoots and ugly look at her partner, who shrinks away before her gaze.
The male picks up enough courage to say, "The women probably do such terrible brain dead things because they're always engaging in ritualistic blood pacts. No intelligent respectable women around here would waste perfectly good men around here, he-h h-eh...", the male goes silent.
"The next easily noticable clan are the Val'Haren, led by Mistress Satros. Most of the nobles in that family lack eyes...", the female says making mysterious gestures, you feign an intense interest and ask if she will be coming to the ceremony tomorrow.
"Why you're in luck, Mistress Satros is going to be arriving. She has two overly protective bodyguards... they have some fancy titles, but I forget them... but you are royality and they are your guests so you can probably have a private conversation with her. Just don't expect the bodyguards to leave. Besides she needs them to help her around."
"I don't see why, doesn't she have acute senses or something?", the male asks.
"Gah, that's just a rumor, her hearing and sense of smell aren't anything to be marvelled at."
"The respected guest of honour will be Mistress Othoran and the Val'Beld clan...", the female proudly announces, "She's a long time colleague and war companion of your mother."
"I wish I could be handler for one of the 'pale ladies'", the male says distantly in hushed tones.
"What? I heard that! You should be ashamed to be trying to make any moves on the respected guests.", The female says angrily.
"Well? What? They're divinely beautiful...", the male proclaims boldly, then goes into hushed tones once more, "...and I've never heard any of them make complaints about their males..."
"Well, maybe you should convince one to take you back with them, where they can suck your soul out with their hell mouths!", The female says, about to raise her hand against the man.
"What other clans?", you ask bringing them back to topic.
"Oh yeah", The female says, "They're be Inquisitor Sylvine and her Val'llhar'dro clan... Just stay away from them. They'll be acting particularly strange...", The female says.
"They're possessed.", The male chimes in.
"That's just a rumor. But it's probably true."
"The final clan should be Val' Kyorl... They'll be the last to arrive and the first to leave. They don't have much civility or nuance, and don't have any clan colors. But chances are if you know where the ale and roast roth is kept.", the female says somewhat unamused.
After this their break ends and the woman drags the man back to work.

You look for other tomes related to dwarven history but only come across two other scrolls. One titled "Dwarven Defenders" and the other labelled "Genealogy of Dwarves"
Melkior nods in approval, "The monastery is your home. The decision is yours to make."
Melkior then thinks for a moment after your second statement, putting the crystal ball away, "Well, I guess I should probably tell you my goals if we are all to trust each other for the coming trials. 55 years ago, back when I was still just 200 years old I was just a simple elf wizard out on my own. All I had ever come to care about was the practice of magic. I had some natural talent with the arcane arts, but that was the only thing I ever was any good at. The simple act of making friends or trying to sustain myself on a day to day basis using mundane methods never worked out. So by extension I chose to master what I knew best.
Of course magic is an expensive art and I was eventually sent out into the world during the golden age of heroics. Back in those times it was standard practice for many groups of misfits with unusual talents to band together and try to make a name for themselves. I managed to be one of the luckier ones by joining a group of adventurers that would be known as the "Order of the Fist".
The group has probably faded into obscurity now but we were an unstoppable gang of adventurers who fought off many of the world's troubles and gained fame and fortune in the process. Most of us were imperfect and had a hard time getting along, but one of us... our leader held it together. I'm not sure how word spreads and whether it falls on the ears of monastery folk, but Gladius Silverfist was a divine warrior in those days called a Paladin. He fought for justice and everything good in the world.
That's what made his sudden betrayal most difficult to fathom, but he became one of the first inquisitors and he ended up killing most of the "Order of the Fist", my friends.
I had managed to escape his immediate wrath since I had been training under Mandrake the magnificent at the time. When I returned I found that the capital of Mordham had been besieged. I volunteered to help aid in the defeat of the city's captor. When I finally made it to the throneroom, it Had been Gladius, now twisted and mutated by pacts with Har'zack. He managed to defeat me easily leaving me for dead. I managed to be saved by Mandrake, but he could only do so by turning me into a lich.
I've since made it my duty to survive for as long as it takes to find out why Gladius betrayed us and with any luck bring him to justice.

"I could...", The priest says, "But there's a chance the woman won't survive. Our best bet for getting rid of the creature and saving the woman would be to transport her to the Cathedral Head of Hextor in Annaroth, that would be 2-3 days worth of travel."
"I'd need to go there next anyways to report the situation here and receive new orders.", the priest says, "So if you want I can easily transport the woman and you wouldn't need to trouble yourself about it. If I sense a problem about to occur before I'd arrive safely, I'd take matters into my own hands at that point."
You look around the altar while considering the offer, There seems to be a serrated wavy dagger on the table, more ornamental than practical. Aside from that there seems to be some melted candles, now diffused around the perimeter of the altar.

Arvall distanse themself from Cernd ar ''No mean to offence your religion.... But someone might seek to take advantage and use that thing'' I point at the womb of the half elf ''I say we take her to the late doctor place and use his tools to peform the abortion... The guardian can take care of that thing'' Arvall says while showing the Divine guardian at the priest ''I do not know if you sense its power.. but im sure it can destroy the evil within the woman''
I wait for the priest response.

Cernd-ar shuffles abit, "I'd be more worried about other religions attempting to profit off of such an unholy child, but point taken."
"So we'll transport the woman there and I'll do it... Besides I'm not too sure how long demonic fetuses stay in the womb.", The priest says, "Want to explore the rest of the shrine now, later or just get out of here and never return?"
Garazoth Recap
You were stalking a kobold knight and wooden warrior, and were hiding in a bush watching them capture 2 goblins and interrogate them about the location of their base. You then got spotted and the knight says, "Come out and talk. I wish to talk, maybe we can help eachother. My name is Jarrackt and my companion is Lao-Ming. What is your name?"
Belfore Recap
You had wanted to try attacking the Bullywig shaman, but couldn't for 2 reasons. First being that the shaman was protected from every side but the back by other Bullywigs. Second you couldn't walk/run that far if you wanted to due to slow land movement and the marshes that halve your movement speed.
Refer to map.
As for the spell you requested I'm still considering whether it'd be overpowering or not, I'll have a decision before your next spell prep.

thinks of the place he has yet to discover but goes against it.. Arvall got sick of this crypt ''No I do not wish to remain here... let this place rot'' he says while now looking at the woman ''so anyway lets get her out of here before the evil thing decides to eat us'' I carry the half elf to the doctors house while Cernd ar takes the lead and guards us from any other cultist that may still be alive in the village.

"And I'm guessing that the one I'm after and Gladius are tied together? If so...then I'm glad we have a mutual goal."
Khannon takes a break for a while, and reads up on the books for information about the artifact to see what it's intended to do. He spends the rest of his waking hours doing so (Search check automatic 20), and afterwords heads to the apprentice quarters for some sleep.

"Undoubtably", Melkior responds, "I hope you shouldn't have to meet him though, he is a terrible force to be reckoned with... mind you all of them are..."
You then sit down quietly and begin reading the dwarven tome in hopes of uncovering the history of the artifact. It takes you awhile but you manage to scrounge up some information.
From your understanding the artifact was actually created by a famous runesmith Binwin Bronzebottom who, unlike most dwarven smiths, was an adventurer first having left the undermountain kingdom of Karaz-a-Karaz, the dwarven capital (now destroyed), to explore a bit of the world in search of "the perfect metal". It is uncertain whether the dwarf actually managed to find such a metal, but the recorder seems somewhat biased in believing that he did not.
By this time Binwin was said to be an old dwarf who had hid himself away from most of the other dwarves, unable to find comfort in friends both from the outside and dwarven. His only solace was the drink which he spent most of his fortunes gained from the surface world on and he had abandoned the art of smithing.
The forging of the artifact was said to have started right after the dwarf had a feverish vision from beyond the natural world. The dwarf became stone cold sober and gained a new found vigour. He worked on the artifact for 3 days and nights using metal from the remaining treasures he hadn't sold off. After he created the artifact he gained an audience with the Dwarven King, Thorris Trollbane, and gave him the belt which he dubbed "Moradin's Blood".
He is reported to have died of a combination of alcohol poisoning and sleep deprivation several minutes later. Making him the first and only reported dwarf to die from non-poisoned ale.
Despite it's terrible creation all the dwarven Thanes swear that "Moradin's Blood" is a artifact that brings long life and good luck to the wearer and most nobility recognize it as a sacred symbol in and of itself.
You notice a strange trend among the various names on the belt and in the book. All the thanes and kings that have had possession of the belt tend to be notable warriors and notorious partiers. Even Garamond "the Grim".
You then decide to call it a night and go to sleep.

First off the spell. I decided that the spell isn't really too overpoweredcfor the level, but it's more of a druid spell. Sure the Cleric has some offensive capabilities but usually not of that magnitude, and the cleric spells (outside of domain spells) tend to be more of a curse/spiritual flavour. So long story short. Sorry the spell is a no-go.
B soldier 2
After Belfore moves beside Ariel. One of the Bullywig Soldiers run into place in front of one of the Shaman's adepts and runs across the grease.
17+0=17 Success
The bully wig moves into position and readies it's spear.
+2 AC, -2 Attack
After that one of the servants gets up from the grease and tries to pick the frail Bullywig Shaman up once more.
5+0=5 Fail
But falls down once more.
Afterwards Raz wastes no time deciding to charge through the marshes towards the Bullywig soldier risking going against the sharp pointed end of the spear. However the bullywig wasn't prepared for Raz to swing through on the diagonal.
8+5+2=15 Hit
vs
13+2=15
1d8=5+4=9!
Raz's striking charge shatters the Bullywig's spear and his claws easily slice through the Bullywig's exposed gut. The Bullywig falls to the ground as it's intestines pour out into the marsh.
The second Bullywig adept rises to his feet and tries to pick up the shaman.
18+0=18
This adept finds success in his efforts lifting the priest onto his shoulders now bringing the shaman to a hight that allows him to shoot the giant Furyian a terrible stare. The Bullywig shaman let's out a triumphant ribbet from it's cracked lips, and pulls out his minature scythes and outstretching his webbed arms in some sort of odd birdlike position and begins flapping...
As this happens a bullywig soldier runs in to take the place of where the adept had been in the grease.
6+0=6 Fail
The Bullywig falls to the ground and quickly scurries up to his feet but hasn't set himself up in a defensive position yet.
Brauer's Turn. Map attached.
Arvall's update will take awhile. Might only come tommorrow. I have some serious number crunching to do.

Then the Bullywig soldier in front of Raz readies himself. Spear held defensively.

I wake up lazily then I remember what my life is like and immidiatly look for the divine guardian that sat next to the couch I slept, the sting from the lurker claw seem to have vanished and for the first time in days I actually slept, even if it was a dreamless sleep I had.
Arvall starts looking around the room and slowly remembers everything the Girl! where is she? I get up and grab the divine guardian and silently begin looking for the half elf woman, I do not wish to wake up Cernd ar yet...
out of game: char page updated and oh boy im level 4! yay
