Seeing as this is the New Year, I thought I'd pose the usual question (and bump our thread at the same time )

Mine is to get at least another chapter of my thesis written

Same here. Another solution is to make a resolution that's the exact opposite of what you want to do, so when you fail you will have succeeded. And if you don't succeed you will have atleast kept your resolution. *So many words to say nothing*

I'm sorry if my first post in story thread was a bit long. It was not intended to be. But it kinda wrote itself. I made some references to other writers, hoping to illustrate the fact that I'm not new to the story or it's writers. (Yes I've read it all, and most if it more than once. )

I'm not trying to create a new story line, My char (who has not been introduced yet) background just needed a longer story than intended(and it will need quite a bit more) the reason for this is mostly the fact that you don't know me or my char at all. While I know quite a bite about you all. And the above point, you don't create a story, it creates itself.

@GTTV - we are not ignoring you As you said, the story does write itself, this part has been in the offing for a little while... Oh!! are you still carrying that bottle of Baileys

I know you're not, it's just that someone pointed out that my actions might needed some explaining.

I keep a healthy supply in my backpack, in my case several bottles. Why do you ask?

I just like to know my companion's back pack is suitably equipped before we set off on any adventures
