LOL For a guy who waxes, there probably is no time or place...Originally posted by der Moench:
Hey! Keep your hands out from under my robes! This is hardly the time or place!
Perhaps you are a eunich from the temple of Aphrodite/Venus. That would explain the needlework in the spam teaching thread.Originally posted by der Moench:

Wrong I'm afraid, I don't drink any variations on beer, and whisky is about the only spirit I don't like... Hmmm, maybe I should be studying a different subject?Originally posted by Hekate:
@ Georgi - I spent three years full time on that side of the bar. I learned a lot about people. You can tell a lot about people by the poison they choose. As for history, well, I think you might like a good Murphy's oatmeal stout, or a nice single malt scotch. I study dead languages so you and I should get along just fine
I didn't know eunuchs were renowned for their needleworkOriginally posted by Hekate:

Ta-ta!
Why is it so much more fun to be wrong, but I strongly disagree, you should be an iconoclast. Drink what you like and do as you feel! Red wine when? A soft Dolcetto? A sweet beaujalois?Originally posted by Georgi:

Sweet gentleman, sit down and enjoy the two that are before you without expectation. Keep the contents of your robe to yourself and merrily spam!Originally posted by der Moench:

@ georgi - Well, perhaps I have you all wrong. I am not very young any more and I forget that it takes a while to acquire these tastes. What do you usually drink?

What's an archer? I have to admit my bartending days leave me to judge an alcohol more by the hangover than by the pleasure of the sip. Malibu has a naste hangover but is absolutely wonderful with orange/pinapple juice. And depending on the quality of vodka you can have some serious effects. but good vodka is the only way to make a lovely martini. Though my bartending days are long past, the reason I began drinking scotch is that there is no such thing as a scotch hangover. I continue to drink it because it is the drink of the gods.Originally posted by Georgi:

Archers is a brand of peach schnapps. And I tend to go for drinks that taste nice, because I don't get hangovers. Though I was under the impression that vodka wasn't so bad for hangovers...Originally posted by Hekate:

I'm sure Aegis is foolish enough to have a drink with us... Everyone else seems to be busy flaming each other elsewhere Oh well, more for us So do you remember enough from your bartending to mix a Long Island Iced Tea?Originally posted by Hekate:
Georgi, t'is true. Bartenders drink professionally, and not necessarily for enjoyment. I am glad I am not a bartender any more.
It would seem as though we have scared away pour der Moensch. And no one else seems to be brave enough to drink with us. Are we ready for another?
