I'll settle for Lord of Spam, but Princess is just not going to happen
Considering the current state of affairs I have with the King of Spam, maybe my being the Princess of Spam isn't such a good idea...
Anyway, apparently you are a newbie until you'e been on GB at least a year. That's the way it works AFAIK.
BTW, the Contra game you're talking about was released on SNES as Super Probotector. That was such a cool game. I'm going to try and get the local video store to sell it to me, with any luck it'll work. I liked the flamethrower myself...
The first NES was a bit basic, IMO the SNES was Nintendo's best system, though I haven't played the Gamecube much.
I remember having Mortal Kombat 3 tournaments, and also some of the Street Fighter tournaments we had, but my all-time favourite was
Secret of Mana. That game was soo good.
EDIT-Okay, Mah had the best title so far.

Well COMMrade
i defer to your greater wisdom
Royal consort he be
I actually liked the gun the shot 4 or 5 bullets in a row. One after the other that was nice. Plus the missile
Ode i played MK 3 the Ultimate edition on Sega now that rocked.
Loved the black shadow type creature.
I was invincible with that character.
If i chose another i would get my butt kicked royally.
I found MK better than teh street Fighter series.

Thanks Tammy, never liked SNES much.
I was am more of a Sega fan.
I have rarely met a person who owns both.
I'm back (and I helped the customer out partially, but I couldn't solve the whole problem
). I wonder what sig Fas has in mind
. BTW, Fas: I'm a Sega Genesis/Megadrive owner myself and I had a friend who had a Supernintendo, so we had the benefits of both worlds
- ever played Ecco or Bloodshot? Of course, Mortal Kombat rocked - I(*), II and III - ** downs his E.S.S. and E.C.h.C. and orders a Jägermeister **

I loved Ecco. Played 1 and 2 all the time. Found it a bit difficult in the beginning. But it was great afterwards. Dont remember Bloodshot, but i also played that game which had 4 characters which you could choose from and walk around kick and punching people with knives and clubs. Now that was a good 2 player game.
As for the sig you will see it when i add it, by friday hopefully.

Bloodshot was a Doomstyle conversion for Sega Genesis. You could even play it in 2-player mode (split screen). Now, that was awesome! (Think of a gun that can fire through walls with ammo that carries a great distance and then imagine me knowing most of the labyrinths by heart and firing away at the position I believed my opponent to be at, based on his half of the screen

@Mah-Go semantics!
Avoiding those letters when you already had a good gun became quite hard sometimes, IIRC...
@Fas-Yeah, MK3 Ulitmate was my favourite, though my invincible character was Kitana, and to a lesser extent Scorpion. Also Kitana had that interesting outfit and those awesome fans of death...
Though my all-time favourite beat 'em up is still
Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fight. Ryu all the way!
Can't wait to see what Fas's new sig looks like, though I suspect my next avatar (I'm changing it again next week) will come as a surprise to many people as well. You should like it, @Mah.
EDIT-Seeya Tam.
