How strong is hydrochloric acid? Haven't seen the stuff since I was still taking Science classes over 4 years back.
btw, look up the page.

ah, to bring back old memories...
Id kiss you if I werent straight.
the girl who spilled it may not live. her exposure may have been to long... the capplilaries in her longs may have alreay been detachted or burned away, if not her brinchials at this point...
EDIT
LOL. It exceeds 20000 bytes. I cant use it. I have to lower the resoultion... and I cant, cause none of my programs can do that.

Oh my god
:
Health effects
Exposure to hydrochloric acid can cause circulatory collapse which may lead to death; it can also cause asphyxial death due to glottic edema. It can also cause conjunctivitis and corneal burns, inflammation and ulceration of the respiratory tract, dermatitis, skin burns, rhinitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, pulmonary edema, dental erosion, hoarseness, a feeling of suffocation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dehydration, convulsions, oliguria, hypotension, chills, shock, lethargy, stupor, permanent visual damage, cough, and choking. Ingestion or skin contact with hydrochloric acid can cause corrosion of mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, and esophagus, with immediate pain and dysphagia; it can also cause gastric hemorrhage and intense thirst.
Poor girl

Damn, that's bad.
I hope she gets better.
Why do you have such strong acid there anyway?
Well, I don't think the stuff thaey used at school was anywhere near that strong. And they certainly kept some.
Aren't there different strengths of acid? Other than the pH scale. Some kind of scale for it.

This got me wondering....Do we have anything of that stuff at school?
Where did Hill go?

One of my friends found her in the hall... we dont know how bad it is at the moment. From what we could discern, she has already sustained dmage to her lungs. Perhaps also to her eyes as well... she was wearing goggles, but you know how bad hydrochloric acid is...
the person who found her was in a full radiation suit with extra layers of protection. She has not come to harm.
Why do you have such strong acid there anyway?
Thats like asking why we have liquid nitrogen here. We use that to freeze samples.
I do not come into contact with hydro choloric acid except in minute, diluted samples... we use it for everything from assays to pH. You name it.
