I know...but at least two people I know of are from Tucson Arizona, and three are from Stockholm, Sweden... So I guess it is not entirely weird :D Oh and several are from around London, England ;)

The best part about the city is that there's plenty of grassy areas. Trees and the like. I can't stand completely urban places. I was in Phoenix once, and all I could see was brown, flat land. Brown buildings, barely any grass, and worst of all it was nearly 50 degrees! Not that I didn't enjoy my time down there, just that it was a radically different environment from my hometown. Then again, I'm rather spoiled living in a nice city like Vancouver.... ;)

@DW
True....very true....it's a first for me though in all my internet scrounging. But then again, I haven't looked very hard at all. It's kinda wierd how they make it look as if the internet is across the world, when in fact you use stuff like MSN and ICQ with your best friends that you can see often (at least I do). It reminds me of circles....don't know why....

Anyways, I'm takin my leave....see you guys around.

There is lots of green space...but it depends where in the city you live..... the West side is quite spoiled in this regard, but the East side........ :(

I agree though, it is a bit weird encountering somebody in the same city on the net :) I generally just use icq and msn (I hate msn...) with my long distance friends though :)

@Dottie & Georgi: Of course you two are here - been here around the clock again? :D

I worked late yesterday, left the lab 1am, slept well and went up 8.15  to watch the football!

Now I will not lift a finger until Monday... :D

How are you?

I havnt been here around the clock if thats what you're asking. ;)

I can tell you're having some influence on your hubby regarding this football thing, He's definatly being effected by your 'expanding his areas of interest' campaign. :D

I dont belive you. :p ;)

You haven't? Are you trying to imply you have other things to do as well?

Yes, my football propaganda seems to have worked well :D ;)

But I am not going to work, I have firmly decided I will not! I even left all my papers at the lab, as to not be tempted during the weekend! :D

Ehrrrrm, no comment.

No, I will not be working at all - I promise! Perhaps send a few mails concerning the new genetic-pharmacology-brain function project and think out some nice study design, but no more than that....I am a recovered work-a-holic! :D

@Georgi: I think you have your own clock :D I hope your cold is not to bad, it's usually worse to get a cold in the summer, it's like an incubator for virus.

Hi CE, I'm pretty good. *hug* Taking a break from the lab (and see what's on the slab...etc), huh?

@Georgi-There is too a difference, SLURRs drink virtual alcohol while they spam... :D

EDIT-And I can't be bothered digging up the relevant thread with the photo discussion, so I'll just say it again here: You are very cool @CE.

@Ode: So have you been up to something funny lately? :)
Yes, I'm taking a serious break. The whole weekend, then I will only work next week before I go on a hiking holiday :D

I am not cruel, only honest :D

Hmpf, I'll do with that. If you ask my hubby you will not get a baseline, you need to ask both my ex-husband and my present husband to make a fair estimation of my change. And then you will also understand why he is my ex-husband  ;)
