Hmmm, I wonder if I've got more posts than Veh yet...

They can't close them down.
That is the beauty of the program.
It hooks up from one comp to another.
There are no servers.

The speed sucks yes, but you can't stop computers hooking up with each other.
It uses the Guen something software developed by netscape.
I am not into comps but as far as i know limewire can not be shut down.

However audiogalaxy is the best for audio downloads.
It is fast and smooth, it operates in the background and starts to download as soon as you connect to the net.

Guensomething is on that lines sleep, however if you have the appropriate software it is pretty safe.
Only your music files are up loaded.
Also limewire can only upload for a specific folder.
I can't roam your computer.
If it did, then the US would have outlawed it ages ago.
And remember netscape built the software.

That is true sleep, but i don't have anything on my computer that the hacker would want.
Unless he or she likes cricket stats.
But you assesment is valid for the comps in major TNC's and govt offices.
