I find that my 8-year-old brother's comprehensive knowledge of the English language has vastly improved since he's been playing videogames
** takes another drink from his beer ** Howdy, McBane ** pours McBane a glass of Jack Daniels **

I was actually turning them into rabid Nintendo fans. Its become a tradition, my dad bought a Nintendo for himself, and I did the rest. The PC bit was unexpected, I am going to let them try System Shock 2 (an old game, very scary). I need my PC back.
EDIT- My fave Ryu, even though he was exactly like Ken. (I am talking about the right game?)
Hey McBane

Ummm... I beat him as Chun Li (probably my best character), he was playing Guile. Ken and Ryu are probably the best characters, but I can't play with them too well, since I haven't mastered the dragon punch...
Wouldn't a SYM SF2 tournament require many SYMians in one place?
**Resists urge to make a lewd comment** Okay, love, why don't you tell me how to reach the cave east of the lake, then?
I can play them just fine, though I prefer Ryu. The Dragon Punch is my specialty....
That would be part of the fun...
@Fas-Vega was cool, he was one of my favourites. Ryu was my absolute favourite though.
@Tammy-Yep, same game. LOL @ your evil plan, show them Blood (for this understandable purpose you can borrow my copy), that should do it...

**accepts glass of Jack, sipping leisurely**
SF2? I never played it much myself. I guess I'm a little old.
@ Ode - never resist the urge to make lewd comment, especially to Georgi -

I also liked Bision and his flying part. That move rocked. Never di get into the Ken Ryu thing. Found them so boring when it came to moves and a bit over powered with the blast and flying kicking legs

If that doesn't work
*Best not to think of it*
Well another early night for me.
Goodnight

That makes a change
You don't expect me to remember every little detail, do you?
The fun is working it out for yourself... I remember being stuck for ages on some parts of that game...
Hmmm, well Ryu is cooler, but Ken is more powerful... just look at his dragon punch!
Vega, eh, Fas? See, I knew I could kick your ass...
Edit: That move of Bison's is ridiculously overpowered. Though as he's the final boss, I suppose it's allowed.
G'night Tammy

@Fas-Bison was cool, a bit overpowered though. Ken and Ryu were perfect all-round characters, they had good offensive moves and good counter-attack moves.
Seeya Tammy.
@McB-But where's the challenge in replying to Georgi calling me a 'sucker'?

You don't want her to think you're slipping, do you?

You make it too easy sometimes.
So what you're saying is you can't help?
Thought so...
On Championship mode the difference isn't that noticable. I just like the character of Ryu better.

Or maturing, perhaps...
@Ode Actually there is a difference - Ken's dragon punch has a wider range, he covers about half the screen with it!

Night, Tam - C U tomorrow! ** takes another drink from his beer ** Can't discuss SF2 myself either, McBane. I only know there was some competition with MK since SF2 Turbo was published around the same time it came out.

Well, as we can't talk with the kids about their games..**rolls a spliff, lights, takes deep drag** We might as well get comfy.
**hands spliff to Eery**

Beat me ha!
I will slice and dice you and serve you to ode
Ken and Ryu i think are over powered offensively. They have moves that give more than one hit over all. Like the flying kick and teh punch which cna be used one after the other.

I wouldn't want to raise myself above your level, dear...
And Ryu's fireball and Hurricane Kick is better than Ken's, yeah, I know. IMO that was the exact opposite way to upgrade their specials, Ryu was meant to be the master of the Dragon Punch, it's how he beat Sagat in SF1 after all.
@Fas-You don't have to slice and dice her, she's good enough to eat anyway...
Mah would have had a field day with that one...
EDIT-One spliff wanted this way!
EDIT#2-Bison was overpowered in general, his jumping ability was stupidly strong and his only real weakness was the lack of a missile attack.

Beldin:
**pops in again and waits for the spliff to come his way**
Phew ! I'm REALLY working for my money today !
Hi @McBane ! How's tricks ?
BTW - I WON'T enter any gaming discussion in SYM - I just don't have the experience for it ....

**Hands spliff to Ode, and motions for Beldin next** Amazing, we just light up and looks who pops in.
Great timing you flea ridden hunchback!
