Not always on the weekends.
Hi Tony!
Well, nothing will probably happen for a while...
My mom says she might give me money for my birthday though, but I'm really not very patient.
I might change the idea, though... I might make it more 60's, even.
I'm thinking have everything pretty colourful... like my avatar.
Then black-and-white posters. And I also saw this giant fake flowers today at a store... might incorporate those somehow. I saw the PERFECT lava lamp though.

So you're going with a more flower-power theme then? That avatar brings "Incense and Peppermints" to mind or I'm Paris Hilton...
@ Rav: You misunderstand, when I said there's always somebody here I meant you: I should've specified, sorry. I wouldn't dare take that mantle from you; I'd have to up my spam output to about 300 a day for the next month to even compete.

Oh sorry that was just intended to be a joke; "Incense and Peppermints" was a famous song by the 60's hippy band Strawberry Alarm Clock. They're famous for being a symbol of the hippy 60's or at least the epitome of the "flower-power" (to use that phrase for the 3700th time
) bands. Just their name gives an idea of how spacy and hazy they were...

Oh, I've never heard of the song... or of the band... sorry... :laugh: But now I'm curious.
Gah, I shouldn't have left all my homework for today.

The song's kinda catchy but don't get too excited, it's the only one I've ever heard by them and it isn't that good; they're just pulp-famous for their image. If you could find a poster of them, though... That'd be money for your room
.
You aren't the only one...

I can look.
I'm pretty much making stuff up as I go along... my LA teacher laps it up... it's great.
My science teacher isn't so easy to please.
You actually have to do the work. :laugh:
Same for me I suppose. Though I don't get homework anymore, mainly coursework instead, that is just a lot of work they give you in one go with a deadline a few months on...
@Kitten, LA?
*nods* Me too, but I still get homework too; I get maybe one "pack" of coursework per class the teacher announces in the first three weeks of class and I have till the end of the semester to do it. There are still some small assignments in between to do though; high school-type work.
LA= Language Arts or English
@ OS: I know what you mean about the LA teachers. English classes as a whole allow for the most improvisation and, to put it bluntly, "bull****ting" as I call it. Science is the exact opposite, like you said, and those were classes I never liked nor did terribly well in.

Well, my courses are split up into coursework and exams. The coursework is usually worth between 30 and 50% of the final mark. There are tutorials after the lectures where we have work to do, but we do th work there rather than outside generally (apart from practice etc).

I didn't get that in my English classes that much. There were lots of essay type questions for big marks, but those were often based on analysing and comparing poems or novels. Not too much leeway there. Not like my RE one anyway, that was more back an opinion up to get the marks...though I wasn't that good on that particular exam.
Cya later Kitten.
