I am going back to Fargrove, in hopes I can find the candle ... Don't have any idea which merchant I sold it to.
Does anyone know what the candle is called?
And, just for future reference, if I can't find the merchant/candle, anyone know how to reset the quest?
Thanks

OK, I looked at all the vendors I could find ... here is a list
Lady Chana in her Apothecary
Seer Paulus in the Temple of the Circene
Deliah in her Curio Shop
Grunmeir in The Arms of Argus Armory
Mage Aleister in The Arcane Emporium
I checked under Equipment, Magic, Keys, and All items. I made sure that I was on the 'Buy' button, not the sell.
Lady Chana in the apothecary only displayed her potions. She didn't have any items that I sold her. (I can't remember if I sold any stuff to her or not.
I couldn't find Then Candle of Stars with any of the Vendors.
Did I miss one?

The House of Dragon is the only one I can think of.

Thank you, Cionaoith, I forgot about checking there. Unfortunately, I didn't sell anything there.
I do remember selling a candle. I wondered where I had picked up a candle when I sold it. I just can't remember who I sold it to.

Open up your character file in the game editor, and select the "Items" tab. Click "Add", and choose the Miscellaneous category. In the frame on the right, you'll see "Candle of Stars" - select it. Click "Save", and the Candle of Stars should be in your inventory again. Make sure you go back to the Stats tab to copy your Experience number over the Advance number, and then click "Save Character".

Thank you. That worked.
The only thing I can think of is The Celestine is a vendor. I tried to go back to talk to her, but I couldn't get in the room. When I asked Seer Paulus about her, she was in seclusion and couldn't be disturbed.
Again, Thank you.

She's not a vendor (she's similar to Staroxia in her role). Are you sure you sold the candle in Fargrove?
Edit: It doesn't matter, since the editor worked.
