Is the Dungeon of the Moors the same as the Naga Temple?

If it is, should I go for the relic as well as rescue Valdane?

The game said I was to get the next relic from Ellowyn, and then go after the other relics.

This is rather confusing the way the game tells you about the order of the quests, but doesn't put anything in you logs to help you out.

I am thankful for this site, and for the good advice you give here in your walk through.

Yes

The game said I was to get the next relic from Ellowyn, and then go after the other relics.

That was because the character that told you to do that wasn't aware that she'd disappeared.
