this is very bizarre. I actually got into the hideout and ended up having me and the team die. So I went back to a save game after the sea ghost quest and played over from there. I get the quest from Axle and Moire and go to the back alley and no map marker and no door to enter. I have done this three times from the save, played other quests and no hideout.

Any suggestions?

Are you confusing the Smugglers' Warehouse with the Githyanki Hideout? The hideout is located in the Merchant Quarter.
