Moderator become exalted member?

Weeks ago, before registering, I read many threads on GB Discussion and SYM,

In one of the thread, I found that Aegis was used to be a moderator.
But why his title is exalted member instead of moderator?
Because at first I thought moderator title was permanent(except when/after banned?)

If the information already existed, then I missed some interesting thread to read(that means I want you to include a link to that thread-if exist-).

Oh, what is "triumvirate"?

Because he stepped down from moderating. Just like Vicsun did.

As for triumvirate, it means a the rule (usually a political regime) dominated by 3 people. A historical example would be Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great and Marcus Licinius Crassus. A gaming example would be the (spoiler)
Spoiler
Sith Triumvirate in KotOR 2, of Darth Traya, Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion.
Hope that helps.

You explain well about the triumvirate(sorry for the bad memory), thanks a lot :)

"stepped down"?
Telling Buck that they no longer want to be a moderator?
or change it themselves?
(the first seems most possible, but the second isn't impossible)

Stepping down is basically resigning - so they tell Buck that they no longer wish to be moderators. He then revokes their moderator privileges.
