Hi, first of all, i am new here i play fable for 2 days now, and i am stuck on a quest called: Find the archaeologist. I found the guy who tells you the name of the demon door is HITS, i've been to the stones for the name, but when i go back to the demon door it says: i only open...(you know the rest) how is that possible? did i do something wrong?

plz help (srry for the bad english, i'm Dutch )

Well, I assume you spelled out the name correctly on the stones?
It takes me a couple of tries every time I try to do it
Anyway, if that doesnt work, I think its a glitch, and you need to reload a save from before that quest.

I cant get past the door to the archeologist. iv'e tried to enter the right pasword but the just wont open!

Any advice?

reload a previous save and redo the quest,
Cancel the quest somehow and restart the quest,
Try to spell out the name again and again and again, the stones dont speak very clearly and so you might mistake 1 letter for another.

all I can think of.. sorry.

When you approach those stones, as they highlight (you'll see the stone has a blue aura) hit TAB, and it will show you correct letter for it. I noticed a glitch in my version where when you hit the stones with your sword to activate them the voice announces each letter H - I - T - H, HITS. :laugh:

have you tried spelling the name out by hitting the stones you just dont walk up to them and click a
